This is an SX350 testing bottom feeder. This is barebones made out of 2 battery holders, some silver plated BeCu contacts, modified 510 to 510 adapter, 6ml bottle, and DSL filter case. No time to test tonight beyond initial vape. First impression is that the voltage reading is off. Shows 4.33V battery voltage with 4.17V measured at battery. Will put on scope this weekend and test out the YiHi SX350.

I'll also be interested to hear what you think.

I just got one yesterday and have only hooked it up and tried to figure out the menu operation without any instructions :D

The tilting for adjustment is weird but manageable.

Price wise I wouldn't buy one over a dna, however if these are more readily available they might be a good choice for DIYers.

I still also need to do some testing.

what are the dimensions of that board?

Was in a hurry to throw the testing platform together last night so I didn't take time to measure. About 1" X 2" and irregular in thickness due to screen and inductor on backside. Will measure max dimensions this weekend.

I found the tilting to be quite nice after you get used to it. No instructions here either, but if you hit the button when it is scrolling through the power settings it will stop there and go to the exit menu item making stopping where you want much simpler than trying to time re-uprighting it. ;) The big advantage (for me) compared to DNA is that it is a buck/boost converter so it will go down below battery voltage as well as above and it will go down to .2 ohm.

Let me know what you find out Bap. I am going to look at input and output ripple & output voltage on the scope this weekend with a few different ohm coils at a few different wattage settings to get a feel for its quality. Not very impressed that the battery voltage display is not accurate on mine, what about yours?

hey bap.....off topic question....went to fatdaddy's site.... 510 repair connectors not listed?????

I'm pretty sure I replied to your other inquiry....Anyway here is what I know :D

Yeah he is out of the original one right now, should have more stock of the original next week sometime.
A week after that, a top adjustable version.
And then a week after that the spring loaded center pin version.

so when he says that, he means all of the original thread repair design?

The top adjust will be an adaption of the prototype I got a couple of weeks ago. It was a floating center pin, but because of how the center pin was done it a had a lot of resistance, so he had them modified for top adjust I believe. I'm not real sure the details on that one.

The new floating center pin I helped with the design and did the cad drawings for him. I don't have them right now. If you remind me Monday I will post it.
