gee I don't know where I could have got the idea, you were an idiot insisting that we have to follow smoking bans even though we are not smoking.

Well marcb,
I see you have been busy pulling quotes from my posts, and you are right, if you read just what you have pulled, one sure would get the impression that I am TELLING people what to do. Perhaps you should pull the whole posts, that way one can see I am only making suggestions. Its what Im saying... Im not making laws about it.

well if you don't wanna give off the "I am telling you what you need to do", then don't say words like should and need to b4 you state your opinion. Try things like I prefer to stay out of places when people can't smoke with my pv.

and you asked for me to show you where you said what I said you were saying, now I am pulling stuff outta context LOL.

I always thought that thats what CONTEXTS are all about? You read the entire statement, that way you dont get the "Im telling you what to do". But since my posts are "opinion pieces" if you will, then I suppose what am telling, in my opinion, would be what to do, as I see best. And some of what you pulled, were just "finishing thought statements".

I also thought a word like "should" is basically the way most start an opinion?? "You should not eat 20 minutes before swimming, thats my opinion". See what I mean?
Or, "In my opinion, we need to take Rt 17a to get to the concert faster" So you see how both the words you are finding fault with can be used to state an opinion.

Your suggestion to me about saying things like,"I prefer to stay out of places when people can't smoke with my pv." is not an opinion, it would be considered a factual comment on how I chose to conduct myself in public with my PV.

and you asked for me to show you where you said what I said you were saying, now I am pulling stuff outta context LOL.

Yes, you are taking things out of context.

Soooo again you go and use the name calling thing, and then ascert that an "idiot" made someone cry, refering to Lu, who is a mod-ER-ATOR, because you got repremanded. Truely digging your own grave. But fun to watch.:pop:

actually I am 25,

And as I said before, it shows...

I am back in school because of an injury,

Brain? Sorry, LOL..had to!!!

I worked construction so I have a foul mouth. ,

Thats about irrelevant an excuse as I've ever seen. I know plenty of construction workers who can refrain from swearing, and calling people names because they may take a different position on a given subject.

Yes you are an idiot ,

You've proven once again your inability to hold a mature debate.

and yes you are saying we should follow the smoking ban.

RIGHT! I think we SHOULD! Thats my OPINION. Thats what we've been discussing isnt it? You are saying "No we shouldnt." (wow, that was simple. maybe he's got it now?)

I think you have a distorted reality of what you think telling everybody to follow the smoking ban means

Not sure how one can have a "distorted reality of what they think". So I cant really comment on that.
But if you read my posts about WHY I think we should, it shouldnt be all that unclear. I mean, hell marcb... others understand it.

I think you two should go OUTSIDE and quit being childish here on this thread. We've all heard YOUR opinion. THANKS!

Thanks for you opinion Wildsky. I believe I've once mentioned that "redundancy is a killer", as well as, "I hope we're done now" (posting to marcb.)

I've also hinted to the Moderator to close the thread. Please understand, I will not be qouted out of context by someone who refers to me as an "idiot" due to mere opinion, without representing myself. I would expect you would do the same.

Last thing I am going to say on this matter.

Vaping is not smoking, it does not violate the smoking laws, and it is not harmful to others. There is no reason to follow the smoking ban.

Thats your opinion, and your entitled. I differ from your opinion. So if you are truely going to hold to this being the last your going to say, then good for you, guess you got that last word then.

May I offer you this marcb... we are both vapers... lets vape the way we each see fit... lets both do what we can, and what we believe, to be the best way to get vaping into mainstream America. I would gladly vape with you as "brothers in vaping" despite our differences of opinions. Fair?:)

Well, after 15 pages, sounds like this has run its course. I suppose we can all just agree to disagree. I am closing the thread. A new thread can always be started if further discussion on the matter is desired....if done so in a civil manner, and without insults.

Thanks to all who contributed. It certainly was an interesting read.
