"1. What is your preferred device and atty/tank and why"

I do like my original iStick 20 watt. I got one of the first ones, had it since Sept 25th. Yea, I get phanthom hits. I learned to deal with the "means" volts. But it fits my hand nice and it lasts me all day!!! (I can't wait to get an iStick 50 w with the big mAh capacity)

My topper is harder to pick one. Just got a kayfun Lite and really enjoying the vape after Bronze helped me out. Smooth, great flavor and big tank.

What I have noticed overall mostly in the vendor contest realm is when a supplier first starts a contest, they are on top of everything...saying hello, welcome, giving answers, info, chit chat, etc! Then as the contest goes along, or after the first or second one, they then are rarely around. I'm not saying this as a negative per say but I've always thought of how hard it would be to keep up on this, to a full time level of watching, reading & posting all day long & to not be able to get anything else done, as I know in my realm here at ECF, I put off so many things I need to do because I spend so much time here! I would think the secret to it all would be to have some others here that are good with everyone, to help & oversee everything, along with the vendor coming & going and you all can get other things done & still be able to interact as you please! I think this kind of personal interaction gives everyone that's entering, the ability to want to do more too, instead of just speeding through to get those posts in & leave & hopefully win & then that's it...you'll never see them again, or who knows I guess But I think you do a great job here & with Kathi & everyone here, it's one of the best going I think & I appreciate all of this interaction as well! Sorry for all this long windedness but that's what I seem to be into today...Long Winded Speeches!!!!

Thanks and Yea, Kathi is a big help as are Joan and Tick, the recent addition of Stosh and Count has been great!

Have a stripped screw on my Lemo... kid says it was pretty much that way when it arrived but now completely missing the threading in places. He found a screw from something else that he put in there and life is good as it is one of my favorites. Guess that is why he never liked it. Don't think I have heard of any others having this problem so just figure it was only mine and something we found a work around for. If they weren't so spendy, I would get another.

PB... my Toasted Marshmallow arrived today. I don't like my juices real strong so where do you think I should start to do this as a stand alone? Does it need any steep time?

what brand did you get joan?
Yes it will need a little steep time but I have vaped it right out of the hole
I would start it out at 5% or 6% and adjust as needed. I was mixing mine into another recipie, cant remember if I did a stand alone on that one. counted bottles of diy juice yesterday and I believe it was about 80 bottles, some I havent touched in 3 or 4 months

Post something funny that happened to you

Well I really didn't think it was funny at the time but I would say about 4 yrs ago my husband wanted me to quit smoking...but I really didn't want to...I had been smoking for way too many years than I would like to think about. Anyway, I am on the internet and saw a great big add for e cig to try for free...$10,99 shipping. I didn't even know what e cig were...never saw one in person but I figured why not try it because the charger included was worth $10.99. So I waited anxiously for my cig to come..I was so excited. About 2 weeks later I get my cig and it came with 5 cartridges and a case and charger. I took one drag of this and I was amazed...could this really be???? So I get my credit card bill at the end of the month for $129.00. It wasn't that good so I get on the phone with the company ..cig.. And complain but of course they are sorry but will send me a free 5 pack of carts in all different flavors. I was fuming but still was kind of enjoying my cig. And thought maybe I could quit with this cute little thing. So the next month I get 5 more carts and a credit card bill for another $50. Now I'm thinking this cig tastes like crap and called them and they said it was part of the deal that I would get 5 carts every month which they said each cart was a carton of cigarettes and that only came to$10/carton and besides you could not get the cartridges anywhere else that would fit my little ecig and they would give me a deal that I would get the cartridges for $15 each month....ok, I fell for it. The next month my bill was $40. I got on the phone and called them again and the extra money was for shipping and handling. I told them they could shove their e cig where the sun don't shine and ii cancelled my credit card. What a fiasco and I never fall for things like that but I was so addicted to cigs and I thought this was the only way I could quit and that's what they were counting on. I still have that little e cig and 5 cartridges that I am going to frame one day. Who would have thought that 4 years down the line that all this wonderful vaping supplies would be available to us and I sure do hope that it's not taken all away again.......well that's my story and it wasn't pretty...lol

so what was the deal with the $129.00 charge if it said $10.99. I would have cancelled that moment. its sad that a company would gouge a person like that who is trying to quit a bad habit. shame on them!

There are a couple of vendors on here that participate in their home threads pretty regularly. I have to say, reading through this thread and seeing your interaction with everyone has impressed me! I like knowing the vendors I buy from, or will potentially buy from. Reading through this thread made me feel like I got to know you a little bit.

Thanks. I try to interact as much as I can and wish I could respond to every comment. I spent about 2 hours today trying to catch up reading all the comments and respond to some and every time I would finish I was another page behind Ha Ha!
the last contest I kinda though perhaps I was on the thread responding too much, was figuring maybe people wanted to have the contest w/o this vendor guy stepping in all over the place.
glad to know my interaction is welcomed and appreciated.

you guys here on ECF really are the best!

I told the regular cactinians ( a name Racegun coined for our group) a little while ago that they are the best above all the vapists I have encountered. I really appreciate their friendship whether they buy anything or not. they all mean a lot to me.

in the area I live in there are 110 vape shops and it seems many of the vapers here have their own groups and are not openly friendly to "outsiders" really sad IMO

I am definitely impressed with all the interaction in this thread and nice to see everyone speak so highly about cactus E smokes. You can tell you take pride in your business and the part about shipping right away I love. I just wanted to give you a thumbs up.

yea, I pais $84.00 for a dual kanger evod set up then a week later i found a shop that just opened had the same thing for $35.00....

Do you know why a lot of vendors don't carry the e leaf melo. It looks like a nice sub tank and the reviews are good plus a nice reasonable price but they are not very plentiful. I have asked 2 local vape shops about them and they didn't even know what I was talking about....they kept on saying I meant lemo. But I thought eleaf put it out there for their I stick 30 and 50 so I am surprised my local vape shops didn't have them...or know anything about them....inquiring minds would like to know??????

I believe I have head of it once but yea, I havent seen one first hand. I will check and see if I can find one.
I went and looked it up and it does indeed look alot like a subtank / Lemo I am sure it will be more popular soon.

yea, as a registered supplier my ability to swim is limited. been whacked many times by the mods for posting what I thought was an innocent comment. also I cant swim in the new members pond.
I have learned to just stay in my corner and behave Ha Ha!

I just went thru over 200 posts here getting caught up since I was last in here last night and now can't remember what most of them were.

Seeing that some of you don't torch the kanthal is good to know. I had read and had people tell me that it was needed. Now that I have the coil master and can get better coils with it I give it a try without the pre torching.

just a question for all entered in the contest do you experience other vendors, ecf or elsewhere that interact with customers, fellow vapers or customers to the degree that I would like to think that I do? just curious

From what I've seen of your interaction here and on the regular thread I have say that you do it a lot more than most.
There are a few that are in quite a bit on a regular basis. Some only show up every so often and others only rarely.
