Tried this last night and it worked out fairly well, but still seemed a bit weak to me.

Set up a second batch with 2 of the snus packets in it and nuked it for 15 seconds - seems that the packets come apart at that value for microwaving, 5 seconds seemed fiine.

Left it all overnight in the PG and will see about running it through a coffee filter later today.

Further report to follow...

How would you not get nic out of the snus? Fifteen of those little buggers (one tin) per 30 ml of PG? I am going to try this as I am a huge fan of tobacco flavors. yeah, I guess we could bump it up with some unflavored juice. But according to Cash, if you let it soak a good long while good things happen nic wise.

Could be the new fix for Tobacco junkies :p Plus, aren't snus made to dissolve in your mouth to begin with? They should break down rapidly then?

Yeah i was thinking that nuking would help it break down a bit. Like saliva hot (gross but that's what they are designed to do). If you cop a good buzz off it let us know!

Just a thought, but,
Distilled water is revered as a good gylerine/pg cutting agent.

Would there be better results, then, making the snus/tea bond with distilled water, then adding it as a potentially stronger flavoring to uncut pg/vg of the desired nic ratio?

Fell free to let us know if its more/less sucessful.

An idea I really want to try, but haven't had the time...

Slow simmer a can of snuff (not snus) for awhile WITH A LID ON, as not to let the nic escape with the steam. Let it cool. First filter through some coffee filters, and then filter it through a Britta water filter. Cut with PG and vape.

Has anyone tried this yet?

(Also thinking some roasted peanuts and a little caramel flavoring in the brew might result in a nice NJOY like flavor.)

In case tea bags/coffee filters/snus packets are causing any grief with not leaking enough flavor out, one could try a tea infuser ball. The ball would better allow the liquid to seep up and have direct contact with the substance you are trying to infuse into your PG or VG. But the mesh is so tiny that nothing should be left behind when the infusing ball is removed. I used to infuse my jellies with coffee filters tied into a ball, and I notice it just wasn't giving enough flavor. Then I switched to the infuser and I find it very very helpful! And it will never fall apart, unless you didn't clasp it closed of course!

I am always hesitant to recommend flavours, they seem such a personal thing. A good place to start would probably be something like the General brand, they are very popular. Also note, the Swedish Camel brand (round tin with ashtray lid) has nothing at all to do with the American brand, they have completely different manufacturers. The Swedish version is true Swedish snus and fairly middle of the road I would say. There is a great snus forum with opinions here

Probably also steer clear of the white portion for this purpose, as it is dry and I would imagine harder to get the flavour out of.

Good luck! Andy

You've corrupted me.

Buy Snus, Order Swedish snus online world wide - BuySnus.com

That's actually cheaper than buying them here. Even with shipping.

Oh wow. I have one of those!

Just an update here since I decided to give this a try.

Single snu in PG was kind of light and seemed to have some odd undertaste that I am coming to associate with PG.

Double packet of snus (2) was better but still weak (IMO) and still the undertaste.

So, I am giving *5* packets a try - soaked them with vodka, perhaps wetted them might be more accurate and am soaking them in VG, going on 24 hours now.

HEARTY looking :) at this point. Should be finished in about the next 3 hours, report to follow.
