I prefer to use the little black box meters for testing atties fast. Cheap multimeters will not self-zero and so it's a little more involved to get a reading from them. If all you care about is detecting a short or not, then they're fine.

I find it a bit tricky too, sort of like having sex standing up in a hammock. So I use one of the J-Wraps holders. Works like a charm![]()

Correct on the Wood mods there is a switch on the bottom, you can see it in this photoI only have a VVG so you all are confusing me about the switch. Is it on the bottom and not inside like the VVG?
