hard to say - not an easy reply. there are so many variables to consider. is money not a issue? do you want ss mesh or wick? do you have any experience? the list of available RA's are growing everyday it seems. assuming you are totally new, i would suggest you get a viva nova and start watching you tube tutorials on how they work. if you're interested in using a mesh wick you might look into a Aga-t. good luck.

The answer to your current question is, "All of them."

Some considerations that will make recomendations much easier:
1 Dripper or tank style?
2 If tank, metal, plastic, or glass, and how big?
3 Pocket friendly and can lay on it's side a factor? (This will narrow your search significantly.)
4 Price/budget range?
5 Atty material preference? (Aluminum, steal, SS)
6 What PV(s) will it be sitting on? Some RBAs look better than others on a given PV.

All genesis attys are clones of Raidys original invention, they are basically two end caps that hold a tank into which you insert a ss mesh wick which is than wrapped with heating wire. All work on the same principal and all work about the same, which is very well.I prefer the cheaper models which I find work as well or better than my more expensive ones, plus I don't feel stupid for paying more than I needed to to get the same results.
I would read the thread"All my mods" by Raidy it's very interesting and will give you a good understanding of these attys.
PS there's a great post in that thread showing a genesis atty made out of an old wine bottle and a cork. Good luck.

I just got burned hits...even at 3 volts, using an AGA-T.
Main things that can cause it:
1 SS mesh and wire needs to be washed in warm soapy water and dried prior to use so that you don't vape the machine oil used in the process of manufacturing it. (Little known fact to many who have a poor Genesis experience).

Poor or no wicking:
2 No air to tank to release vacuum (solid wick filling 100% of wick hole and tank fill cap left on), prevents wicking.
3 Poorly rolled wick or wrong mesh for PG/VG you are using.

Harsh (not burnt) taste caused by:
4 Air hole in cap not aligned with coil. (The farther away the air hole is from the coil, the harsher the TH)

Locke, did you hang on to your AGA-T or get rid of it?

Yep. The "Raidy" thread is fascinating reading. Hard to believe it all started only a couple years ago.

No I traded it to sawlight for two vivi nova setups. I did all that lol. Clean and well oxidized wick, air holes aligned, and my wicks actually soaked up juice quite well.

I love the AGA – T. I picked it up while waiting for my AC9 to come in the mail. Really fallen in love with it, a great little Geni. It will be interesting to see how the more expensive atty stands up to a cheaper one that works on the same principles. If the only difference is I don't have to tune that AC9 then I will probably sell it.

I have had a few different GG attys, still have a Fatty V2, Spheroid, Reo Miser, and a Terminator which I haven't set up yet (Ody clone) which are all silica wick rba's.
I've tried a couple Genesis styles (ss mesh wick) too.
So far I guess I am just not inclined toward all the DIY stuff though... reason; slightly inept, damned lazy or both. I get some good and some not so good results.

So I just go into my stash of HH357's (considering time and money, and what you get in satisfaction, its not all that bad) and Hybrid atomizers (Aero, AMG new spec b/f Hybrid).

I vape MMRP constantly so its either dripping or a glass, or ss tank rba for me.

My point is... I am still interested in getting the RBA's right (less inept at it), and at the same time hoping it gets easier as innovation evolves.

I do have an iHybrid (by Faceless) coming so I am sure as hell gonna try the Genesis route some more.

Which models satisfy #3, I am currently looking as well. Will use on a VAMO, prefer glass(pyrex).
