Best user-friendly mesh tank

Hi.
Now I am finally satisfied with a big quantity of vapour with russian 91% clone regenerated with wick + cotton. This is my best with wick.
But I would like to have a mesh atomizer that has same good quality of russian: a lot of vapour, a simple regeneration (pin near mesh) and, most relevant thing, that it doesn' t loose liquid!
Is it only a dream or does exist a clone with theese features?
I don' t like the Taifun GT, i had a bad experience in the past. And I can't use a Genesis, because it loose liquid, and I would like to put my ecig in the bag without any probolem.

I'm sure that exist what I search.

Thanks to all.
help, bye

Gennies don't have to leak. I wouldn't sell you one and tell you with 100% certainty it won't, tho. Takes a little trial and error. But it's a lot easier than many make it seem. If your wick is snug in the wick hole, liquids won't escape that way. Mesh won't let go of liquids easily. Then there's the fill hole. Trick is to reduce its size to prevent liquids from getting out but still allow air in. Think e-liquids bottle turned upside down but not squeezed. I cut off nozzles from e-liquid bottles as plugs. Then close off all other deck holes.

If you use very thin / high PG liquids, this may not work as well. You may also get the occasional drop of condensed liquids from the chamber. But your tank shouldn't leak.

People have done Mesh/silica or Mesh/cotton in several tanks like the Russian/kayfun/ect. and claim they are great. Until I can get one of my many Genesis to prove out the Mesh is best theory I'll hold off.

So Far dozens of different builds on several tanks have resulted in nothing more than average Flavor and more hassle with soaked decks/etc. I'm even considering attempting a SS wire build.<something to play with over the winter>

Not that I "know you", but I got a feeling you've done all the research already. So, no point trying to lecture you, lol.

For me it's not so much about intensity of flavor as purity. For most of my liquids I use about 20-30% of the flavoring I'm used to getting from store-bought liquids. Way to dense for me.

... and to the point! If you want to play around with wire rope, I advice trying it out on a gennie with a relatively slim wick hole. It wicks like crazy anyway. And it will heatsink a lot. I've ran 1.5mm rope down to 0.6 ohms (26 awg) with no wicking issues. At the other end of the spectrum, I've ran a 4.5mm rope in my TNS. It heat sinks to the point where it's almost ridiculous.

For me, wire rope is about three things: Making atties with slim wick holes work better. Easy leak proofing (just plug all deck holes). And, "something else to play with". The trade-off is often slightly less intense flavor, tho. Not so slightly if you use thick rope.

I would ask, "Why mesh"? Personally, I haven't liked SS mesh for 2 reasons; it tends to short out the coil (and be intermittent; that perfect 1.2-ohm build all of a sudden drops to 0.3 ohms) and even when I get it working, I find that SS mesh adds a metallic taste that really bothers me. Of course, that's just my experience; lots of people are able to get great performance with mesh. For me, the taste was the killer. (Got that same taste with SS wire coils as well).

Most mesh builds are with gennys, although some have used them on other RBA's, that's a distinct minority. A dripper with mesh might be interesting...

Have you looked at other wicking materials? Rayon and KohGenDoh cotton pads are very highly regarded. (Hope I spelled KGD properly). Or ReadyXWick (silica rope).

Sorry to stray a bit O.T. but if you're looking to go with Mesh just because it's the "next step forward" there are other alternatives, IMHO better ones.

Not trying to diss you. But really - if you suffer shorts and metallic flavor - it's just not set up right. A well set up mesh wick should have a consistent, reliable resistance with no hot spots and no off flavors. From the day it's set up to the day you dry burn it. It should even work perfectly fine after a dry burn without any adjustments.

If I ever use drippers, it's with mesh too. Also in a KFL... but I just hate working with those. Especially with mesh lol. :)

I know I'm in the minority. Perhaps because I have very bad teeth; but I get a metallic taste even when using SS wire in a coil (with a rayon wick).

I should have emphasized that my experience clearly is not typical.

By mesh atomizer you mean an atty that can take an ss mesh wick I'm guessing. Those are mostly genesis atomizers. I have built gennies with RDA flavor / vapor but it was extensive and difficult. Tell us what you're really trying to accomplish.

I think we have lost the main path: so at the end there is no clone tank with mesh that doesn't leak?
Kay ith mesh is horrible, for my own experience.

I don't keep up like I use to on the latest and greatest thing out there, but last year I got an atty called the 'Arrow' by mod maker 'Yellowkiss'. The key design set it apart from other mesh tanks; you could close off the air hole and it would not leak. The juice collected in the top cap would travel back down when you opened the air hole back up. I tested it when I had it and it did not leak but I did get 'seepage' sometimes. I had to sell it needing money and just liking my trusty Orion better. At the time it was only available in a 17mm diameter but they released a larger one soon after.

I don't know if it's still available or maybe there's a better thing on the market, but at the time it was the only one of it's kind.
