I swear by these Mini 2ohm 801's,,, I have ran every Atty on the face of this earth and nothing, I repeat nothing, brings out the flavor of the juice more then this Atty running it around 4.2V-4.5V it is just the top performer for taste, it also puts out plumes of fantastic vapor too..!!!!!!!!!!!!

stud this is the 801 shorty LR that i haven't tried yet:

IKV LR 801 2.0

mwa102464, i have some new atties coming from issac and i promise i will fire it up when those get here lol. i have some new RN4075's also, but those which used to be my favorite vape, feel like they are defective after trying the IKV 2.0 LR 901. i haven't had an analog in a year and a 1/2 and i'm not taking any chances. I don't get frustrated with issac's atties, so i have to keep a spare on hand lol :)

with issac's great first class shipping ($2.50) no worries on doing small orders often, so i'll fire up the 801 soon and it may become my new fav.

The 510 and 801 Fusion styles are 2.5Ω with an inner resistance of 960ohms to ensure a very warm vape. It's counterpart is the Gold label 510 cartomizers, as they provide better liquid retainment but is a smidge cooler vape.

With the inner resistance what it is will they perform like a regular 2.0 ohm carto?

pci,

Do not get hung up on numbers. There is more to an atty or carto then just voltage and resistance. e.g the time factor it takes the coil to achieve HI for the lack of a better word, makes a difference in performance.

The entire line has been finely tuned. If you look at the 901s there are two different resistances both for HV but none for XHV. I thought it was a typo. It was confirmed it was not. 2 different attys, different resistance, and both used at 6V.

Which regular cartos are 2Ohm, as I have yet to run across those unless specifically design to those parameters. I am not talking IkenVape perse.

Damm Switched should get a sales commission on these. After chatting with him in another thread I am going to have to try them now :)

Soon as the Bank opens Friday I can switch some funds and get a few off to me.
Not really sold on the DT included thing it seems kinda gimmicky. Maybe to justify a higher price.
I wouldn't care if they cost more if they are better. Even if they sold for 3.60 with a rubber tip.
They would be worth it if they are twice as good as my 1.80 cartos.

It seems like IMO it would have been better to offer them as a better type of filler cartomizer.
Leave the "drip style" off it seems confusing and may actually hurt sales.

Anyway, I like Isaacs products and his business practice in general so I owe it to him to plunk down some green and give um a try.

Put salesman hat on...

Isaac and I had a long discussion the other night reference the price point. It is the best it can be, trust me. My reviews are to the point. I take it out of the box, and i fill it with juice. When I take my firt toot it either woes me or leaves me flat. Those are my judging criteria. Nothing else.

Ok, so either or, which one was stronger: a woe or a flat. We go from there. I do not want to hear well if you boil 'em first etc... do a dry burn etc... that is all BS. Straight out of the box, whether it be equipment or attys/cartos. I do nto want to boil or modify my mod PERIOD. Like everyone else when I get something, I am like a kid Christmas morning and I don't wanna hear a need to buy a transformer to make my choochoo work. It should have been in the friggin box.

If you have followed my reviews here and elsewhere, they are straight. Some are downright controversial. I am cool with taking the flack. Should Isaac start brigging in sub-par products I will be the first one to say so as well. This is something both Isaac and I know. He is comfortable with that thought. Why? Because he knows what he is bringing in, and should something not meet his standard, I am sure my opinion will be sought in private or it will be returned to sender. Why?

Because anything that is released to his BETA testers has been tested by himself prior to being placed on the shelves. Should I have a massive failure rate, I know Isaac will come good for it. Not only will he come good for it, but he will pull the remaining product off the shelf until he has gotten to the bottom of it. Show me vendors that are willing to do that. There aren't too many. Yeah! I have a salesman hat on, but only because I have never been dis-appointed by the product. I have no vested interest in IkenVape, outside of that the vaping community matters more to Isaac than the bottom line. Think about it! Ethics and moral values are keys in my books. "wink"

That statement right there is the god's given truth. I am full aware that if something that is even sub-par Switcher will definitely say so. This is but one of may reasons why he is crucial to being on our Beta team. He is finicky, 100% detailed, and very precise with his opinions. This is something that will always be treasured. You could take his word for it Big Hitter as it is in Gold. I have been using this 510 Drip style going on 4 weeks with 5V solid and have encountered not one problem and absolutely wouldn't say so if it wasn't the truth :vapor:.

I'm not one to listen to what anyone else neccisarily says and like to try things myself and voice my own opinions whether I like something or dont. Being one of the 5 Beta testers I tell it like it is and like I said I dont just agree with someone because of who they may be or what they may think, BUT I have to say here in this refrence I totally agree with what the Switch man is saying about Issacs commitment to the vaping community as well as only stocking what I call TOP SHELF GOODS. When you buy an Atomizer/Carto/anything any vaping product from Ikenvape.com it is always going to be TOP SHELF. Period end of story and the reason is simple, Issac put an unbiased Beta team together to test everything before it goes out the door, who could ask for anything better, this isn't his brother, sister, mother, father Beta testing but 5 unbiased people from all over the world. It isn't a cheap way to test product, it cost him money to have this system in place, the system is proving itself that it works, and be assured people that this man is for real when he adds an item to his website and retails his product that its not just good it's top of the line no matter what it may be.

Once I saw Issac was putting together a Beta team and he was kind enough to pick me I said to myself OK whats up with this, now lets add that he already had his (4) Beta members in place, and added me Last minute to round the number up to five, I'm thinking he did this (5) number for a reason (QUORUM) But I'm not positive and don't really care why, I'm in and here to stay.!!! I told myself right off the Bat I'm no fan boy, I'm not going to just yes Issac to death and tell him this is great or that is great if it wasn't or I didn't like something. I, like the other 4 Beta testers have all spoken up when we didn't like something we where testing. This Beta system is a very sexy way of choosing what products Ikenvape will shelf and which ones they wont. This is a vigorous work effort that Issac has chosen and quite similar to what attorneys do when they are practicing for a trial, they hold a mock trial with people they don't know in order to get a true unbiased opinion and to try to predetermine the outcome, this is how I look at this and the products I test. I don't give a hoot what anyone else may think, say, or do with the product but only how I feel when I take it out of the package and put it through a tough, long hard vaping session for weeks usually which is most important. The bottom line here is not only is the man working very closely with his manufacturers and QC of product, he is then putting the sample product through 5 more vigorous reviews beside his own and Mr's Ikenvapes ( can't leave the MR's out here we all know she keeps Issac well in line ) chuckle chuckle) But I cant give Kudos anymore to anyone else in this industry for how this guy is running his ship, it's tight, in order, and has a course set for success and nothing but. IPO's please Issac, haha I truly believe that there will be some leaders emerging in this industry in 2011-2012 and this ship will surely be leading that fleet with its top notch Captain at the Helm..!!! Who couldn't like this guy tell me who, I haven't heard one complaint, one customer service issue, one bad product come up in any threads that have to do with any of this guys products or business practices EVER & THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES PEOPLE..!!!

Good post mwa102464. I believe if I don't put how I honestly feel about a product I'm not only letting Isaac down but myself as well. If I put my stamp of approval of something it has to be what I honestly believe. As a nice guy Isaac, I didn't think, was looking for friends but for honest opinions to the products he was building. That's all anyone will get from me when they ask me to put my John Henry on a product, my honest opinion. He's doing something right though because so far I've loved the ones I've tried, Honestly.

How many fills are you guys getting out of these? I had hoped, based on this thread, that I would get more life out of them than 510 cartos but just like my 510's, they can only handle about 6ml of waffles from Tasty Vapor. It looks like I'm going to have to clean it now. Do you use the same cleaning process as for other cartos?
