He carries these: Smokeeze Cigarette Filters to Remove Tar and Nicotine From Cigarettes

Smokeeze Cigarette Filters remove up to 90% of tar and nicotine from each cigarette you smoke. So if you have wanted to quit or even tried to quit smoking, but just couldn't quite do it, then Smokeeze can help remove the tar and nicotine from your cigarettes.

Hmm...sounds an aweful lot like (albeit poor) tobacco harm reduction to me. Except e-cigarettes remove a lot more from what you are inhaling than these filters ever could! And if it removes the nicotine, smokers would find themselves smoking MORE cigarettes to make up the difference which negates reducing the tar. And it doesn't say if it removes any of the other toxic chemicals, carcinogens or carbon monoxide that e-cigs don't have!
I stand by my earlier statement that his store site is the worst site I've seen in a long time. He would have to have some killer pricing in order for me to even think about going there again. Of course, I was so turned off by the look and feel of it I didn't even bother looking at his prices. I know (good) web design is expensive, but wow... Even a default Magento or osCommerce site looks better than that.

I've tried something similar to that before and it was awful. They talk about a using a straw over there, well using this was like sucking through a straw with harmful crap in it. As a pack and a half a day smoker for 15 years, I puffed on my cig with this filter attached for about 2 seconds, and then threw the rest of the box in the trash. Just my personal experience with them.

I could be mistaken, but I don't believe Fred said anything for or against harm reduction. Just that the ultimate goal was to help people quit smoking cigs. It's the veterans who don't believe in harm reduction. It's a complete quit or you might as well still be smoking "cancerettes" as they so fondly call them.

Not sure why you quoted me?

Nope, not approved yet. Tried emailing to boardadmin@quitsmokingmessageboard.com, even submitted a ticket on quitsmoking.com, but nothing yet. Poor Fred might be swamped with hate mail and death threats.

I wish I could quit reading there, I really do... I might need to seek serious help

Nope, just lurking... I can't help myself.

It shows you online even if you haven't been approved. I can post, but it says they have to be approved first, and they don't show up. I made about 5 posts before giving up.

So you can have all the benefits of smoking cigarettes without that pesky nicotine. LOL

No offense anyone but I think I'll pass.

That being said I don't think the QSMB is about making money. But we will see. Don't really care much either way.

If I were to ever smoke another cig, I'd be sure to tear off the filter just to spite those things. I mean, what's the point?

And no, I will definitely not be smoking any more cigs. I'll take my Blackberry Cheesecake juice any day of the week (and twice on Sunday).

I hadn't read anything over there in a while. Just finished the "Segregation" thread in the "Socializing" section.

That Evelyn has quite a mouth. I can't believe Fred hasn't done anything about that.

Yeah really... just when you think it couldn't possibly get any worse...
