Interesting...hope it bodes well for us vapers. But i have a mistrust of authority going back many years ( my Dad was a Deputy Sheriff and I was invited to leave my High School in the 70's )

What I can say is this. "Expect taxes, expect the FDA to require companies to make a chemical sheet" Now, 1 bad and 1 good thing. the bad, being taxes, the good, chemical sheets will somehow be leaked to us. Now I KNOW for a fact, that there is bearly any chemicals in V4L juices, other companies? Not so much.
I'll take the taxes if its easier to get. I could use a good e cig store out here in salt lake. I cant find one for the life of me, and have the fun is seeing before you buy
Seems pretty easy now just ordering it off the internet. I can go to as many different vendors as I want with the net. Can get atties from here, juice from there, cartos from somewhere else, and so on and so forth. What if the local "ecig store" doesn't carry the kind of juice I prefer? No, I like it just the way it is now. The more the government gets involved, the more it will cost and the more hassle the whole thing is going to be.
My deep seated fear/suspicion is that the IdiotDA will ban all flavorings except tobacco flavors, because otherwise "ït's too attractive to kids." You know, unlike those cherry and orange-flavored nicotine gums and lozenges and such.
Then you would buy your juice get some flavoring and mix. Not a big deal.

I'm sure it's not that hard, it's going to be more effort but it's not like you can overdose on flavorings, have you ever added food coloring to cookies? from what I understand it's about that easy. let's just hope they don't require tamper-proof cartridges.... but hey at least this will mean more e-cig shops, and I live in St. Louis, only 5 hours from V4L's HQ, so maybe V4L could open a store out here!
I don't get it...if they are not tobacco then how do they fall under "tobacco products"?? I mean, I know some flavors are extracted from tobacco, but other than that...I don't get it.
The FDA is stupid, that is how. They can do what they want, because they are another company that approves stuff that still harms people.

I fear the govvie czars. Limits to internet orders, mailing the product, and not just taxes but price hikes if the vendors are all forced to sell to or open brick and mortar stores. PG already has been tested for fog machine use.
Also, I don't know anyone personally who smokes an e-cig like a real cigarette. You double inhale and all you get is a choke-cough? The key is the slow draw and absorption through the membranes. Regulating LIKE a tobacco product doesn't make much sense. It deserves its own special treatment to ensure accurate testing/safety

Id rather pay taxes for e-cig products than real cigarettes. At least the rest of the funds go to our supplier(s) and get reinvested into the industry instead of the Big Tobacco Companies..

I don't understand either--Regulate like a tobacco product? No relationship between e cigs and tobacco products except nicotine. There is nicotine in lots of vegetables. Why not same regulation as vegetable products? I just get cold chills thinking the government is going to get involved. When they get involved it means the end of common sense, and the beginning of greedy, bureacratic b.s. Hope this drags on forever while they try to get as much money as possible from all involved in e cigs. Need to stock up before they regulate the devil out of our products.
Yes, there are tons of cigarette/tobacco websites, especially Indian (native American kind).
