I was going to order this as soon as it was available, but the one piece chimney is just plain stupid IMHO. It is so easy for the wick to move out of place when screwing the chimney on after rebuilding, and with a one piece chimney, there's no way to tell if it has happened until you notice it in the vape. Unfortunately for me at least, I'm gonna have to pass on this one.

I thought the same when the Orchid 1st came out, but with rave reviews, I ended up getting the V1, and today I received the Orchid V4, once you know how to wick it, then it really doesn't matter, and now I wick my lemo the same way and don't take the chimney apart to wick, I just screw the chimney back as 1 piece.

Maybe its just habit for me when I wick my Kayfuns, but I always visually inspect my wicks after screwing on the bottom chimney piece to make sure the wick didn't twist when I did so. More often than not, the wick DID move so I need to reposition it with a toothpick before screwing on the upper chimney piece. With a one piece chimney, for me at least, this is not possible.

It is very simple to me. I cut my wicks SUPER short, kinda like you would for a protank rebuild. I cut them off right at the deck and never put any down into the channels so they never have a chance at getting caught in the chimney threading. A quick saturation and inspection to make sure they are resting atop the channels, and never had an issue from my first build to my latest. Wicks a dream from 50/50 to 90/10. Nothing complicated, and dual coils ROCK!

This. Your first instinct is to put the wick in the channels but YOU SHOULDN'T. Cut your wick short. Some people really need to just try it.

With this RTA and others like the orchid you shouldn't be putting your wick in the channels. Search you tube videos, most are doing it wrong.

So ive been a kayfun only type of guy for the past year and never really got into RDA's so my quasar just sits around idle.

Im a lung inhaler and last night i was trying to choose between a lemo and orchid v4 but ended up choosing the lemo. How does this compare to a orchid? how big are the orchid airholes?

Saying that you never got into rda's, yet prefer a kayfun is kind of odd. If you can build on a kayfun, than any rda will be a walk in the park! Both the Orchid and the Lemo have great airflow. I prefer the orchid for it's dual coils. But you will absolutely love the Lemo. Plus it as a glass tank.

You made a wise choice with the Lemo, it will treat you much better than any Kayfun! Enjoy it! And if for some reason you don't like it, or simply wanna try an Orchid later on, they are dirt cheap. I paid $13 for my v4, and she is a beaut!

I liked the taste and clouds of my quasar but i absolutely hate having to re-drip after a few hits... just not convenient for my style.

Only reason ive been using a kayfun for so long is cause its been reliable and i can pick it up and use it anytime... just wished it had a bigger airflow stock (drilled the base w/ a 2mm bit).

Where did get the v4 for $13? I dont mind ordering that if i can get it for $13 lol. I also noticed the lemo chimney top has a larger diameter then the orchid v4... am i seeing correctly? also are orchid parts interchangle with kayfun? im hoping i can use kayfun drop kit on the orchid but by judging how the orchid chimney looks, i doubt it.

edit: im assuming you got yours from fasttech then lol.

One day someone will make an RTA with ALL the features! Why they haven't yet is a mystery! If this one had a two piece chimney (O.K. I can manage with one but the option would be nice), an airflow ring (having to remove the atty to adjust is just silly), and top fill cap, it would be perfect! (I reserve the right to change my opinion without notice).

I agree, but I have the lemo already, and can't adjust airflow without removing from the base, so I am sort of use to having to set airflow while the tank is off my mod, but 100% agree on the top fill, I am using a kayfun top fill cap on my Orchid v4, not having to remove to fill is really nice, and filling is so easy :)

But if the billow is a hit, then maybe we will see these options adding in a future version ;)

Most Kayfun parts are interchangeable. I know if you top fill, you can use the full size Kayfun quartz tank. Also the m tanks will fit.

You nailed it, but I have seen them for under $15 from another site, I would have to do some digging! I know angelcigs has the v3 for $13, but the v4 is out of stock at $13 as well.

This sucks!!! I went to the site to place the order and up to the end of check out it then tells me "We can not ship one or more of your items to your location". I live in Guam btw. The upsetting thing is they have Guam as a selectable option on their order form.

Sad I won't be able to enjoy this. Help Eciggity can you help a fellow vaper all the way in Guam get a Bellow RTA.
