Sorry, I was just passing through and saw this post.

You know shipping these products from Point A to Point B is not as easy as it sounds. Sometimes there is complications, and even when dealing with Customs/Government, one person can tell you one thing and in reality the opposite can happen. Sadly there is no 'magical' command that will allow things to be cleared. It's luck of the draw, I can't believe that someone who has 5 posts come in here and be so nasty.

Regardless, she's offered people their money back so I don't see what the big deal is. If you're tired of waiting you have an out, I just don't understand what benefit you are getting from slandering a perfectly good seller who has ran into an issue with customs. It's a learning experience for us all, so please try to understand that.

Edit: Maybe emailing your order # or information directly to the supplier may also assist your issue.

Well said!

I hope Bloog will continue to be straight up about the shipment. I expect the outcome should be very informative to all. It should be very interesting. Any one placing bets on what's going on here? FDA? Duty? Taxes?

With this, and all the other issues in the supply chain in this business, I'm not convinced in the least that it's smart to advertise, let alone actually sell anything that you can't hold in your hand and thoroughly check out today and provide some support for tomorrow.

I am won't to speculate here about what's happening re: FDA involvement, Tariffs... hopefully we'll get a great story and people will get their goods. Meanwhile, I expect all eyes will be on that tracking number. Posting that is pretty transparent, if you ask me.

Will also try to pass through later....

ok halopunker,, so you're better than me because you have 284 more posts than i do? does that make you smarter than me? doubtful. does it mean you have more free time during your day to troll around and post things on an internet forum? probably... i'm getting a point across that stuff like this is the cost of doing business. why should i feel bad for a retailer that can't obtain their goods? perhaps they should've looked into these "complications" that everyone keeps mentioning before opening up shop and taking orders they can't fill. until it is physically in their posession, they shouldn't remark about anything, nor should they sell anything. everyone makes mistakes, sure, and i have sympathy for that. but do you have any idea how many emails i've gotten back and forth stating things like, "hooray, it's finally been released." "the shipment will be here early next week." "it was supposed to be here last week, but now we have been notified that it's held up again, but assured it will be here in x amount of days." why keep repeating the same thing?

and do you think i haven't corresponded back & forth via email about this? half the time i don't get a response, and when i do, it's more empty reassurances. patience is one thing, but if i order a product i believe in, at the time of purchase am told that certain things will be a certain way, i expect that. if it can't be delivered in that fashion, then they deserve a chance to make it right. that is the primary reason i have not returned this product because of continual reassurance that the additional product that is supposed to be delivered is just around the corner...

i'm not on here to slander anyone or hurt anyones feelings with "nasty" comments... just trying to get a point across

NO one is asking you to feel sorry for us....we are the ones who feel bad...as i said and and you can see from the tracking we were told on several occasions it was released....but then detained again...

if you wish to return your item we will be happy to extend the warrantee past the 30 days .....

we know if your out of carts you can't use it....

what else do you ask of us really??

maybe you think i am trying to play on sympathy's...when the actual case is i am trying to be as informative as possible...

THERE IS SIMPLY NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE THAT WE ARE NOT ALREADY DOING...

i expect that. if it can't be delivered in that fashion, then they deserve a chance to make it right.

I never said that I was better than you...or smarter than you...

And how can they make it right? First Born Child maybe...?

A lot of other newer suppliers run into this issue, it's not just one. I've noticed that bloog seems to be the target of some weird Phemoninon. I'm just curious why this one supplier is taking so much heat.

They've been pretty much telling you everything in black and white. And if you know anything about customs you know it's fickle.

One of my batteries appears to be cooking off carts without being used. I first noticed it the other day when it became very hot in my pocket. I noticed after that it only provided a weak hit. Today I noticed when I screwed on a cart it would instantly start heating up and I could hear it vaping the liquid in the cart. Is there anything I can do to fix this or is the battery just bad?

NYC SUBLIMEGIRL Answer:
Well offically it sounds like an issue with the internal switch...where it has become too sensative... and you can return it to us for an exchange....

My humble advice is to dispose of that battery immediately. It will not turn off and is a dangerous condition. If you have access to a fire pail which is filled with sand, I would bury it in there ASAP. Do not dispose of in the earth, do not place in water, keep away from it and do not mail it under any circumstances.

To be honest I have to agree with nycsublimegirl on this and disagree with your humble advice esmok-e.. If the switch is stuck on then it is the atomizer that is heating up not the battery so it would be safe to send back as long as it is not attached to the battery.

That was "opinion", as in IMHO and not a directive. IMHO that's what I would do because IMHO it could be easy for that on-state battery to short out somewhere and cause a fire or explosion. Of course I can't predict what might happen.

Having seen those batteries. there's about 1mm (on the micrometer) of non insulated space between the + and -, not too much room for short circuit protection. Further, if the circuit is stuck in the on state and the LED does not glow, there may be more to the problem than just the transducer/switch, it might be the circuit board which may have developed a mind of it's own.

Now in jest, you know those little transducers in the battery (electret condenser microphones) that "measure" the airflow against the membrane and turn on the circuit - well those little mikes are how the Chinese spy on us smokers and those around us. If you want to drive them crazy, smoke in a low-rider with a banging sound system........ see y'all later

I second that motion. An update on inventory would be nice. Do you guys have anything in stock...carts, bloog starter kits, batteries, etc.? What do you have and what is coming in on the shipment (TNT:154290737)?

Also, Ive noticed that the shipment has been held in warehouse since the 24th...is this a good sign when it comes after the customs and government inspection? What exactly is customs telling you guys?

Thanks!!
