BLOOG replacement.. looking for VG based e-cig in Canada.. HELP

Hi, I started with the Bloog and found it's a good cessation device for analog cigs. However, I would like to try switching to VG juice and Bloog's juice is close to 100% PG. Can anyone recommend a product similar to the Bloog but that runs on VG? Also, I'm ordering from Canada.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any ecig can run on VG it just depends on what you screw onto it and the viscosity of your ejuice . If the ejuice is too thick or thin then you may have problems . Most ejuice is made with this in mind .

Was going to come in here and say basically the same thing as chelly. The eigate stuff in canvape's 808 section are the same as bloog, so they would work out nicely for you.

Jugheads has a lot of stuff in their vg extreme section. It is thinned out with some distilled water and pga, so it works perfectly in anything. Great Canadian made liquid at a amazing price.

just wondering ..if anyone has DIY there own 100% VG e-juice...as I know that PG is the flavor carrier would I have to put more flavor in it if I went with a VG only juice?
or for the folks that don't DIY do you notice that the flavor is week or muted in store bought VG only compaired to VG/PG?

I fill empty cartomizers with vg, no problem. You shouldn't need a new kit for vg juice, only empty cartos. Canvape has kanger and Happy Vaper carries the blank Bloog brand cartos. Both are good imo. If you want to know how to fill them, just ask

Thanks for your feedback everyone!! I checked out the sites that were recommended, sadly, now I only have more questions.. First, I've heard that Bloog cartos aren't designed for VG juice and when I emailed the company they told me to stick with PV for maximum vape.. So has anyone tried using Bloog batteries with some other standard carto that vapes nicely with VG? If so, please send me a link for the specific product that would do the trick. The other thing is, in looking for a Bloog replacement, I'm kinda overwhelmed by all the choices out there. I've seen a lot of kits, some are very pricey. If anyone can recommend a certain kit or individual pieces that work well together, that would be amazing. Lol, perhaps I'm asking too much, I've been told that choosing a 'brand' is very personal, but I know many of you have gone through this process already so I wouldn't mind some extra advice.

I suggest getting a couple Ego twist batteries, a charge cord, and some Kanger cartomizers (they are pretty much the same type youre used to, this is what i used to upgrade from my Bloog) from Canvape. Super cheap, by the way. And I vape 100% VG most of the time.
Seriously though, Jugheads extreme VG line works perfectly with Bloog cartomizers, perfectly. But the twist is more fun

The only problem with VG is that without doing anything to it, it is very very thick. PG is much thinner. Because of that, vg doesn't work well in cartos, and won't wick well in other stuff. However, some companies, like jugheads for example, make their vg juice with that in mind, and thins it out enough that it works fine in any cartomizers, including your bloogs.

Bloogs are 808D-1 threaded, so if you want to keep using them, any 808d stuff will be compatible. So kanger cartos would be good, or if you want to upgrade you can get the bigger echos/vgo batteries.

If you are looking to upgrade though, it might be better to look at 510 threaded devices. They are more common, and you have a lot more variety with them. Both for the actual e-cigarettes, and the what you attach to them.

You really shouldn't worry about brand that much, everything is made in a handful of factories in china, so most of it is the same stuff. As long as the prices are competitive, you can't really go wrong no matter what you get.

Alright sounds good guys! That's what I needed to know. So 808D for Bloog compatibility and maybe I WILL try out some 510 devices just for comparison. Although, I am very happy with Bloog and PG definitely does the trick, but of course I just want to try all my options before really settling in.

One last thought, how sure are you guys about Jugheads? I don't mean to judge a book by it's cover but I checked it out quickly and the site seems kinda poorly designed. I also noticed that there is a disclaimer on their homepage saying the following:

"WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE WEATHER CONDITIONS & WHAT THEY MAY DUE TO YOUR ORDER?
HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND, Thank-you & Sorry"

I gotta say, that's not too encouraging, lol, when a company won't guarantee that the product at least arrives in proper condition.

If you're happy with the bloog, just stick with that. If you want to stick with Cigarette sized ecigs, 808s are the best. If you want to move to the bigger ego type ecigs, or mods, than you might want to look at 510 stuff.

Yeah, lots of people have that complaint about his site. Everyone else uses some cookie cutter volusion template, i think jugheads built their own site. The cart is secure, and he uses EMT like everyone else in Canada.

I think that is more of a warning than anything, if you leave your juice and other stuff in a hot mail box for too long, it might do stuff to it. It has been really hot in Alberta lately.

For now, I want to experiment First thing I'll try is some kanger cartos with a VG juice! And I'll take your word for it albert and give Jugheads a try too. Someone else recommended vaporium.ca -ever heard of them? They're located in Quebec a few hours from where I live.. Might be convenient to buy locally, although, shipping is usually cheap from anywhere in Canada anyway.

Here's a question for Canadian smokers (and hopefully ex-smokers!) - Does anyone know of an ejuice that tastes like a DuMaurier or even a Peter Jackson? I know nothing will taste like the real thing but I mean just something similar.

Shipping in Canada is NOT cheap though. It costs me less than $10 to send a parcel to Singapore and more than $14 to send a smaller parcel 2 hours away from me. It's ridiculous. Most Canadian vendors though charge around $10-11 to ship, and some iwll ship free over a certain amount, so it's not TOO bad in that way. Vaporium I have heard good and bad things about and I don't know if they have any decent VG juices. I can tell you that if you want the best VG juice then Jugheads is the place to go. His other juices are excellent as well. Try it, you'll like it

I have ordered from Vaporium a couple times in the past. Their juices are really quite good. I haven't tried their VG only stuff though, so can't really give you a comparison on that.

As for matching a DuMaurier or Peter Jackson, you'll never find anything that tastes the same as a BURNING cigarette. Most of the juices I've tried that are marketed to "match" these brands taste like a freshly opened pack smells. Something like dry hay. Not my personal favourite, but some people really enjoy it.

just to add a couple things,

Jugheads has arguably the best ejuice and prices (and service) in Canada, though most of them now are all VG.

Kanger makes cartos with both 510 and 808 connections so make sure you know which type you are buying if you choose this brand.

100% VG juice will vape and taste very different from 100% PG juice, so you may also want to try some 70/30 or 50/50 blends which give the best of both worlds.

As for a DuMaurier clone, you wont find it. However flavourcrafters.biz makes a MacMaurier that is very tasty indeed. It's not 100%VG though, they don't say but I'd peg it at 80pg/20vg.
They have a 70%VG line (only 4 flavors so far), but I have no idea how well they do in cartomizers as I haven't tried them yet.

Juggies has a very interesting sense of humour. He also has the best customer service and the best juice for the best value I have found yet in Canada.

His VG juices are all thin enough to work in cartos, they are closer to a 50/50 consistency than a 100% VG consistency. I actually thin them a touch more by putting them into a bowl of hot (not boiling, around 60C) water.
