I agree vapers aren't causing any bans...but we do make or break the outlook the public has on vaping, which in turn makes it easier to impose ridiculous regulations. If the public thinks vapers are inconsiderate, then they could care less about the fairness vaping gets. This is like the politics phase of vaping, and we need people on our side. We walk around like vaping is etched in stone, vaping is new and we need to, at the very least, make as few enemies as we can until vaping is an accepted thing to do. I know vaping has done me a great service in helping me off the sticks, but now its becoming a show piece for bragging rights before it's even accepted for what it was originally intended. That's a bad look in my opinion.

Most people I've met don't even seem to know that big cloud vaping exists. I don't aim for huge clouds but use subtanks and regulated mods so put out a decent amount of vapor. The most common reaction is either that smells good or a bit of surprise at the cloud output but I've never had anyone complain or show negativity. I'm respectful about where I vape and when but as far as I can tell most people have no opinion one way or the other about it.

Isn't the OP like in his 20's??

Thats what kids do. They ride loud motorcycles, loud music, squeal tires, blow cloudz and drink to much.

As a worn out old man it annoys me but when I was under 30 I did all those things. And it was alot of fun.
Hey now, don't go stereotyping... Lol... I'm 23 and I like big clouds, but none of those other things! I don't go around blowing clouds in other's faces, at work I step outside with the smokers, stand downwind, and cloud away. Nobody even questions it. I've apologized for my cloud drifting over another vaper even.. He said he didn't mind, that it smelled good. Same co-worker/vaper was riding to work with me the other night and was putting his window down and apologizing for his vapor drifting my way in the car and I had the same response.. I don't mind at all, it smells good! I understand and respect that some people may not enjoy our vapor, so I keep it to a minimum when others are around- I was on break the other night, sitting in the break room at work, and took a couple big hits, but held them long enough so little to no vapor was visible, and people around the corner from me didn't even know. Now if I'd have let the clouds fly, they may have been complaining, even though vaping is supposedly allowed in the building.

I recently put a fused clapton in that same setup and I get about twice as much clouds.. gets ridiculous and its honestly almost annoying to use in public even though I'm vaping on "Mega Melons" by cuttwood which smells delicious and people should enjoy the smell of it I dont know how they couldn't. I see the vapor drift through and people obviously getting annoyed, but this is my style of vape.. I try to just take a drag when no ones around. Any of you guys get some funny looks when blowing clouds? Some of them are compliments, mostly by either drunk people or teenagers or mid twentiers being like damn how do you get that much smoke!? as they smoke on their tootle puffers.

I blow clouds in the house and when I'm out I use a tank for some stealth vaping. I mean, if we kept on blowing clouds at a public place wouldn't that give vaping a negative image? I mean, imagine someone seeing for the first time some guy suddenly blowing steamplies of vape from his mouth, that person wouldn't be amazed he would be somewhat disgusted believe me. I was a cloudchaser before and I don't care if I blow clouds in peoples faces in public faces, but now I've realized that I was a dumbass. I only stealth vape in public, plus people and smokers seem to appreciate vaping more if they're seeing a moderate amount of vapor rather than clouds.
People give me the "looks" when I'm cloudchasing, abd people seem to be more open when I'm just stealth vaping :)

Keep in mind, that I'm not hating OP. :)
We are all vapers, we are family :toast:

It's people like you, mate.
Sorry if my jimmies seem rustled, but I have a coworker who does this stuff in public places and I bust his balls weekly for turning public opinion against we, the vapers.

I blow clouds too man, but there is a time and a place.

If you are doing this in a restaurant or somewhere else your not supposed to smoke, expect to keep hearing from people about the smell and the clouds because what you are doing is annoying and inconsiderate... and not just to people who don't smoke/vape.

P.S. You are wasting all that juice too. Hit it and hold it in, it's more cost effective.

Actually seems to be a couple different things being talked about and some are treating them as one.

The other is smells. The worst smell every made by human hands is RY4. Sundried vomit and cat pee?? And I get to smell this coming from a little C4 tootle puffer. Frankly if vaping is ever banned I'll blame RY4 and even support the ban.

RY4 =/= RY4

Yes, it's a formula, but so was grandma's awesome apple pie recipe that your mom just couldn't quite nail down.

If I really really really wanted to blow a cloud like that of OP, and was doing it in my home with my devices, there is around zero percent chance I could and around 5% chance I could even get 1/4th that type of cloud.

So, when I say I vape in public (everywhere) with respect, it is taking that into account, the fact that my ability to produce a cloud is virtually impossible.

With that said, I do think it is possible to blow a cloud 10 times the size of what is shown in OP and be respectful while vaping in public. It would be a bit more tricky IMO, but not impossible. For sure one could do it in a hospital in most areas of a campus. But unlikely you could do it in say a mall and not get noticed (in an upclose and personal way).

In some ways cloud chuckers could ruin for every other vaper, but in other ways they kinda help. Cause if I now see "no vaping" sign, I'd think they'd mean cloud chucker, and well, my personal rule of "catch me if you can" has been in effect for around 4 years now and am still batting 1.000.

Hit it, hold it in. That's the way!

Most people don't like having a visual reminder of whatever they're breathing has just left someone else body. It's sort of like other kinds of air expelled from other orifices - tho with an audible heads-up instead of a visual one. People see no reason to stick around to figure how it smells - if at all.

I was wondering how to say that & didn't know how.

hi, I think it's great (and kinda skillful) that you can produce a cloud like that, i do respect that, however, in my opinion, the ONLY time it should be done in public is during a cloud competition at a vape shop or area set aside for the competition. That way it's fun, competitive, and bothers NO ONE. Everybody can get together, socialize, and try and blow the biggest most abnoxious cloud they can and maybe win some cool equipment or prizes while they are at it. But to do that in GENERAL PUBLIC is NOT necessary!! It's rude, attention seeking behavior that actually ruins it for those of use who use vaping as a tool to quit smoking. people are coming down really hard on vaping because of that very thing. maybe think twice before blowing those clouds in public. if it's attention your after enter a competition. see how your clouds stack up against others and have fun but to do that out in the general public isn't acceptable. I'm not putting you down, there is a time and place for everything and your clouds are definitely impressive! just not in the general public. this is just my opinion. Please rethink doing that in a general public area. Do give the competitive clouds a try. you might have a good time at it and have a pretty good chance of winning. just remember what I said about a time and place for that. hope this does not offend.:smokie:

I love all the HATE towards cloud chucking! It's not cloud chuckers getting stuff banned, its the inconsiderate people. PERIOD. There's plenty of toodlers being told to stop vaping in restaurants or stores, or wherever. Inconsiderate people will ALWAYS ruin everything for everyone. There's plenty of inconsiderate toodlers out there too, so some of you should pull up to jacob's ladder to get off your high horses.

Gf and I were at the movies the other night, and someone was toodling in front of us, and apparently someone else didn't like it cause they told management who came in to ask them to stop. There weren't any huge clouds, not a lot of vapor or smell, but it was someone who was being INCONSIDERATE. This isn't a very difficult concept to grasp, but guess where a no vaping sign will be popping up next...

We went outside to vape, cause we're courteous people, and take a guess who didn't get asked to stop vaping!

Have you been officially authorized to speak for all cloud chasers?

Where to even begin... For context, I drip, run low ohm builds, and am a vape shop employee. With that being said, I absolutely can not STAND it when people do this in public. In a smoking area? By all means go ahead. In a vape shop? Of course!! It's encouraged. That's where it should end. I recently lost it on a guy who decided it would be cool to blow clouds in a PUBLIC RESTAURANT, which happened to be over my shoulder and onto my table. You see how that can get annoying? Because it is. Cloud chasers MUST accept the fact that their clouds do NOT impress everybody around them, with the vast majority thinking it's obnoxious.

I'm not attacking you personally 3ebmike, and I apologize if this is a high hostility post. I'm running off barely any sleep and have been running into trouble with nicotine cravings and the like.

Haha thankfully no! I'll have to add in my sig the whole "this post is my opinion only, anything I say can and probably will be construed in every way and used against me on this forum."
