I know this is a Bounty Hunter thread, but I see Nite lite has a lot of tobacco flavors. Any comments on those? Anybody try Gold Rush or US Marshall? Do they use tobac absolute or extracts?
contournc,
My first order of Bounty Hunter also included Renegade RY4 and Sundance Tobacco.
I reviewed Renegade RY4 in my Big RY4 Roundup thread. For me, it landed smack in the middle of the current rankings pack at #15 (out of 29), with 14 above it and 14 below---not a fantastic juice, but not terrible, either. Pretty good. Here's my review from that thread:
Like Bluemist RY4, NiteLiteVapor Renegade is a transparent and almost clear liquid. This RY4-variant 65PG/35VG blend has strong tobacco impact and substantial throat hit. I can taste a slight nuttiness, but just barely. The other flavor components also take a less flavorful back seat, receding into the tonal background. As a straight tobacco vape, Renegade excels (I also like NLV Bounty Hunter). As an RY4, however, it doesn’t make me sit up and take notice. With more caramel and vanilla, however, NLV Renegade could morph into a prize-winning RY4.
As for Sundance Tobacco, I haven't vaped it much yet. I have so many recently-purchased juices that are breathtakingly great (NLV's Bounty Hunter, PrimeVaping's Natural Tobacco, Nostalgia, and Strawberry; QuickNicVapor's RY4, and VermillionRiver's Kentucky Premium) that many other not-quite-so-spectacular juices from the same crop are just steeping, patiently waiting in line for my taste buds to tire of the above-listed current faves.
Sundance is in that group. I'm vaping it right now as I write the post, but
only because I want to remember what it's like, so as to be able to critique from fresh perception rather than weeks-old memory. First off, Sundance is a red-colored liquid (whereas Bounty Hunter is orange and Renegade RY4 is yellow amber). While Renegade RY4 is smooth, mild, and laid back, and Bounty Hunter is a balanced and lovely combination of just-right flavors, Sundance is bold and intense, very much in-your-face. I taste some tobacco, but it's overwhelmed by a very brash vanilla and what I take to be Bavarian creme. To my palate, Sundance is an adolescent juice, unsure of itself and substituting bravado for a lack of maturity. I'm thinking it may not benefit from steeping, but might improve with a bit more tobacco added, then diluted with some unflavored VG to tone down the flavor. As is, however, I don't think I'd vape it very often. Not a bad juice, but not distinguished, either. A Kix-is-for-kids kind of juice.
Bounty Hunter is clearly the pick of this little litter of pups.
