I just did the door magnets, I'll try to give a simple walkthrough and not get it backwards in my head :p.

What you need:

Ceramic tweezers (took me forever to break down and get a pair but everyone should have them!)
A very small metal screwdriver
Toothpick
Krazy Glue dab pen
Patience

Cut the tip off the toothpick.

Start by doing the magnets on the body itself.

Dab some crazy glue to the now blunt end of the toothpick. Stick it into one of the magnet holes and swab around. Using your ceramic tweezers (we need these here so the magnet doesn't fly over to the battery contact), line up one of the magnets and push it in using either the other side of the toothpick or your screwdriver. Hold it in place for a few seconds.

THIS ONE WILL BE YOUR NORTH STAR! From here on you measure your other magnets against it.

Pick up your next magnet using the tweezers, and hold it against the one you've already got in place. IF IT STICKS, THAT IS THE SIDE YOU WANT GOING INTO THE NEXT HOLE. IF IT REPULSES, FLIP IT AROUND. Repeat the above steps to put it in place. REPEAT EVERYTHING UP TO THIS POINT FOR THE OTHER TWO.

Now we move on to the door. Since there is no metal near the holes, this was a bit easier and the ceramic tweezers weren't needed. Stick the magnet to the end of your screwdriver and hold it to one of the magnets on the body. IF IT REPULSES, THAT IS THE END YOU WANT GOING INTO THE HOLE. IF IT STICKS, FLIP IT AROUND. While it is repulsing and still stuck to the screwdriver, dab some krazy glue to the up side. Simply press it into an open hole on the door. REPEAT UNTIL DONE.

This worked flawlessly for me, and going on two hours of sleep, I'm really surprised I had the presence of mind to come up with it haha.

What settings are you vaping at to only get 32.7k? Granted i should get 20% more than you with 3000mAh HG2's, but Im getting over 100% better. You can see in the pic, my batteries are still at 6.57 (about the same as yours @ 6.56), but i still got another 5k before the check battery. This was strictly in power mode at 80W. Eco mode would have increased the total to around 75K-78K.

Those magnets were NOT fun! Just finished my white one. Like it, but will probably give it (ok, sell it) to a friend. Im waiting on the Blue. Think @KTMRider must have gotten the last one.

Compared to the hell of soldering everything with no clip stand, the magnets were a walk in the park hahaha.

You can make your own that will work just fine for about $1.

Chunk of 2x4, couple pieces of 10g wire, 2 alligator clips, and few quick drill holes.

Pretty ghetto, but it will support a fully built clock board and allows me to do a few hundred >1mm solders with no problem.

If I ever decide to do another project like this I'll definitely make one. Scrap wood is pretty easy to come by, for me anyway.

When you walk into the club, are you like "What up, I got a sweet clock?"

LOL.

Became obsessed with Nixie clocks a few years ago, built quite a few of them at this point.

Makes soldering a mod board seem like a walk in the park!

@dannyben

Nice!

Wonder how long that white stays white if used as a daily driver?

Eric

Hopefully long enough for my friend's check to clear! ;)

I think the white is actually the natural color of the material (?) -- others are dyed. Might show dirt/fingerprints the most, but probably the most durable.

Anyone wanna barter? I'll build your Boxer for a loc-line station ;) LOL.

My 3rd hand was made for under $20 and the arms are loc-line clones  . Loc-line is used for fluids but since I'm using it for holding stuff, I didn't need the real thing for more than twice the cost.

This is what I really wanted but way too much.

Good lord that is an insane amount of money for what the thing is.
Yes it is but it also works great. You'd have to use one to know how much better it is. If I used it daily or even weekly, I'd definitely buy one. The DIY loc-line setup is fine for me since I only use it a few times a year.

No doubt about that. Good tools are always worth the money. Which is why my vape gear is all expensive haha.

Received mine aswell today. Build went ok and in 45 min I had it up and running. The nylon quality is ok and the bottons are nice, firm and click ok.
One issue I have is with the battery door. It's very easy to make the door fall. The magnets are not strong enough.
The 510 seems ok but the spring on mine is very weak. Borderline unusable.
The case seems designed ok but there is barely any room behind the battery connection for the wire if you follow the instructions provided.
And a tip for future kit builders. Mount the magnets first...
I will upload some pics later when close to a pc.

Building two of these now, A) you want to cut that jumper wire to about 2". it will fit if longer, but tight. And B) With the white wire going to the 510, its very important to use as little of the heat shrink tubing as possible. Also check the loop you make to the 510. Both will cause the "springiness" of the 510 to weaken. The spring itself it strong (you can test it before you solder it), but those 2 factors will weaken in greatly.

@smokewell try taking your sled out and then pull/push that wire wire a few times. Also make sure its not rubbing against anything.
