Getting a 403 Error on three different browsers on all the links...very odd.
Maybe try googling "Spreading fear and confusion with misleading formaldehyde studies." That should take you to it.
No matter how i try to get to his site everything is returning a 403 Forbidden error.

The AVA press release has a message that says basically, at the request of the NEJM the press release is embargoed until 5PM.

In the latest article DrMa posted it was revealed that the researchers tested the devices at low and high power and the high power was 5.0 volts for multiple 5 second firings. All of the batteries that I know of only go up to 4.2 volts. Is there something I'm missing in the vaping battery world? Are there actually batteries that go up to 5 volts?

Others on twitter are also mentioning problems accessing it, so no idea what is going on.

I always imagine these studies are done with a vision spinner cranked all the way up, with a blu carto on top, and no air flow.

The articles posted so far at least mention the errors (=stupidity) of this study. I am impressed that our side is at least represented in these articles. Major kudos to those who were able to get the truth at least mentioned in these articles.

Please note that Greg Conley removed the press release from the AVA site until 5PM today after the NEJM contacted him and requested he do so (because the NEJM had a 5pm embargo on their press release touting the botched study.

The reuters article actually wasn't horrible, though it would have been nice if "For most vapers who use e-cigarettes as intended, he said, the findings show "there are non-detectable levels of formaldehyde ... which means people can use them to help them quit smoking lethal cigarettes." had been the title instead.
Yeah, I haven't read anything to horribly awful, so far. What the ANTZ do with this later will be the awful part.
What we're seeing so far in articles is good. It seems if we can get out in front of this kind of BS the press takes a better look at what they're being fed.
