Today is my "break even" day..........YAY!!! While I am still smoking a few analogs - what I have accomplished so far is unbelievable to me. I have spent this month getting familiar, finding the right flavors..... holidays have delayed my stocking up order, so I have resorted back to analogs mostly during the wait, but as soon as it arrives, I'm going to try to drop the analogs all together,.... and place my order in plenty of time to not run out of things! The support I have found here is beyond words. I read more than I'm working these days! Yikes! Every time I feel like I can't get it together, someone posts, my questions are answered, and I'm hanging in there! It is a comfort to have family here that know and understand. What Steve and his staff are doing is awesome - Leaford - wow - talk about "hands on" - ya'll are amazing. Feels good to know that someone from home is there seeing things are done right. Mark, you've been so kind to answer my calls when I've got problems! ........to me, it is more than "breaking even" - I've got a whole new life. I said in the slogan contest that this is what I call my "peace pipe" - and it truly is. Thanks to all for being here!............woo hoo to breaking even! Those of you who were like me lurking around in the shadows, undecided, just reading .... it is SO worth it.:)

FWM you can do it, there's to many testimonies on this site to attest, and I'm one as well. I too waited a little late to make my last order and I sure hope it makes it before too long because I'm straining juice bottles hoping I don't run out. But you know, I don't seem to have the strong urges like when smoking cigs. I can wake up in the AM and I'm not rushed to burn that weed, I can sit through meeting and such real calmly. So perhaps if I did run out, I think I might could manage.

Cheers, rock on

I'm spending a lot more than i did on analogs, i just can't help myself with all the flavors that surround me, just dropped a hundred bux on cartos and a battery last night, i think i need some mental help.

I killed my ccard and the debit card and still want more stuff.

Fwm, congrats on your success!

I killed my ccard and the debit card and still want more stuff.

Tell me about it, i bought another battery too coz my beloved chrome auto won't hold a charge properly, i did mention it in my comments so maybe they did include an extra battery for me, but i don't care if they didn't because i'm very happy with the service i get and it's not their fault if a battery goes funky :D

I get scared when new flavors come in because im already spending more than i did on regular cigs and my obsession with flavors gets the better of my wallet every time.

Edit: i just looked at my emails and i've spent 200 bux just here at V4L in the past month, i could never tell the wife that lol

Congratulations on breaking even, FWM, and don't worry too much about kicking the analogs. It will happen when it happens. You've already made a big improvement, and the rest will follow when time and circumstances are right! :thumb:

And thanks for the kind words, I am very happy to finally have the chance to get hands on, and really be a part of this industry instead of just being a commenter on it. :D :D

I am trying to keep the spending in check with the holidays and all (and big pay cut starting next month), but honestly - I think I would have paid just about anything if someone could have made me forget that I ever started smoking. I am so happy that after 30 yrs I have now been smoke free for 5 wks!! I'm already going low on the nic too which really surprises me. I think a lot of my smoking was an OCD thing. I'll be happy to get to zero nic and keep on happily vaping. I may still be chain vaping but it sure is better than chain smoking! What I spend is more than worth it to me.

Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season to you all!

Budget? What's a budget?

I'll never break even and I don't care! I'm smoke free for the first time in over 40 years.
:lol::lol::lol:

I can so relate!!! One of the many reasons I started to vape was to save money. Now, when DH asks how much I've saved over cigs, I just tell him that I got such a great deal, or it was on sale and hide the receipts from him:D Some day, I'll have the courage to add it all up.
I figure I'll break even when 30 years from now!!

FWM - welcome - you'll quit cigs in your own time. Just remember, even smoking 1 less cig, is 1 step forward. And if you ever feel that you just can't make it, come here and we'll pick you up and carry you. We've all been at the beggining at one time or another.
Happy Holidaze!!!

Now that i think about it, i don't care about how much more it's costing me, i think it's a miracle in itself that i don't want to smoke cigarettes again... can't put a price on that... infact you can't put a price on getting rid of that disgusting stench of tobacco either lol.

Smoking never affected my health, but i can't imagine how much of a miracle vaping is to those people who have now gotten rid of their breathing problems and stuff.
