Electronics + water = bad combination imho.

Perhaps some enterprising folks could come up with a hookah-style 'hose' system that would allow you to have your device on the counter or something (not near or above the water) and still be able to vape. Would probably result in a much cooler vape but at least you'd be able to do it.

Just how long are you soakin in the tub though? LOL

Its probably much different if you're taking a hot shower as the steam tends to fill the whole bathroom. Baths are a lot less steamy but that is still a consideration.

I am a guy so I don't do the bubble bath or linger in the tub very long, so I can't comment that way. Only time I take a hot bath is when I'm really sore or sick, and I have a soak in the tub for about 20 mins or so. Of course, I'm pretty much completely submerged except for mouth and nose (sometimes I even bust out the snorkel!).

Could be worth considering using one of the cig-alike kinds perhaps as long as you kept a hand dry, might work for you.

Let me clarify, the only problem with water and electronics is the connections - if you put a battery in the bath and took it out and dried it, you would expect it to work would you not? As the only electrical connection is the battery to the atomizer as long as you have access to clean / dry that and its a sealed battery, it would have no effect! soap may be difficult to remove though but not with something like vodka which is what most people wash atomizers in anyway from what I've read. As long as you don't leave the battery screwed in overnight after you drop it in water it will be fine.

avoid this with manuals.

I've done it with an Ego-C... I just had a small towel next to the bath so when I wanted to vape, I would dry my hand FIRST, then grab the Ego and vape away without fear of dropping it. You have to be willing to take the risk that you might destroy it and throw it away. Maybe a disposable cig-a-like could be saved for those 'special' moments? ;)

I vaped in the bath last week. I very rarely (like once every month or two) get the chance to soak in the tub so when I do that's my sacred "me" time. Sometimes I've got a glass of chardonnay or cabaret sauvignon sitting on a stool beside the tub, sometimes I have a book in my hands. Adding a few puffs on the PV just seemed natural to me. Of course, my hands were dry while handling it and I was careful not to drop it. But I really enjoyed it. And will probably do it again.

I'd hang it over the side, vape it and put it back out of harm's way. You could always buy a cheapo ecig kit with the same connection and use it. Chances are, all you'd damage is the atomizer from soapy water ingestion, but why take a chance on a high end ecig when you can use something less valuable? The little ecig can be your backup anyway. We all need backups.

Truth is, a tube mod can be washed out in clean water and dried. We pour alcohol in Provari's from time to time to wash the circuit board. It's recommended in Provape's FAQ, but that's only something done when a Provari gets juice in the electronics for some reason. The atomizer connection is sealed pretty well.
