Bumping for my friend Rhonda in FL who not only turned me on to Vapping, but pointed me in the right direction as to the company to buy from and what model to get. It worked! I've gone from 2 packs of analogs a day to between 2 and 6 analogs a day since I started a week ago. This has truly changed my life, so this is a "BUMP" for the gal who saved me.

Got my first convert last night! I let him vape on one of my eGos for a few hours, and by about 3:30 in the morning he was using my computer to order his own.

Way to go!!!

It's kinda old news, but I think I converted my first friend here in Tucson.

He didn't really intend to quit smoking, and he didn't smoke a *ton* to begin with. And that was cool by me, because I know how this goes.

I haven't seen him light up a ciggie since he picked up an eGo a couple weeks ago.

Technically not a conversion, but the subject came up in a conversation with a grocery checkout clerk I know. Turns out she already has a Blu that she sometimes uses. I showed her my eGo (not enticing to her--she's a Superslims smoker), but also explained she could buy liquid and refill her own cartridges which she didn't know. More important, I gave her a juice vendor card I had and wrote down the ECF URL.

I was kicking myself about forgetting to point her right to MistressNomad's videos.

What a great thread! I think I converted a fellow co-worker on Friday. He was riding with me to the Auto shop, getting ready to light up an analog, and I said "before you light that up, try this" and handed him my Kr8. He didn't give it back the whole trip...just kept dragging on it, and looking at it, and asking questions. I answered all of his questions as best I could, referred him to this forum, and gave him a V4L business card. When he got out of the car, he was thanking me and saying "I'm going to the website tonight and placing an order!"

I will check on him this afternoon and see if he actually placed an order, or just vaped my espresso cartomizer dry just for the hell of it

Just got my brother into it. He has been a 2 pack a day smoker for longer than I was smoking. He has been smoke free for a week now and says he is loving it.

Of the six people in my department at work, there were five smokers. As of May, 2010, three of us had switched to vaping. Recently, one of the remaining smokers became interested in making the change. However, she was concerned about the learning curve, and was feeling slightly overwhelmed by the hardware e-cig options available.

After the three of us reassured her that we'd give her whatever help and advice she might need, she took the plunge. As of last week, she's happily puffing on her AltSmoke Yeti and sampling a variety of liquids.

So I checked, and he ordered his starter kit from V4L that same night (Friday), and is expecting it in the mail today
