I have a couple of pheonix BC 808's and I'm getting a burnt taste. I used them new out of the pack and they worked great. They were about 75% empty so I put them away to refill later. A couple of days goes by, maybe 3 and I refill and now I'm getting a burnt taste from it. Anyone know what this could be from? Did the juice that was in there clog up the wicks? And most importantly, is it possible I burnt the wick and they can never be used again?

Try taking a couple of primer puffs with out pushing the button and see if you can get a couple of bubbles to come up from the bottom and see if that helps , when letting them sit than refilling sometimes you get an air pocket at the coil taking a couple of draws to get the liquid to push that bubble out

Im not so lucky , had a brand new phoenix last night filled with 70/30 pg/vg and it was working great. great flavor and great vapor. Had to refill today , refilled upside down , filled slowly and now i get a burnt taste. Tried the primer puffs , air bubbles come out of bottom coil and tried squeezing tube and air bubbles come out. But like i said last night was working flawlessly

Or flick it down like you used to have to do with the old thermometers. Coil up and a couple quick flicks. I don't think flick is the right word but if you ever dealt with glass thermometers you'll get the picture.
This gets all the juice out of the head and lets air escape when yiou fill it.

Before you refill, pull some air out of the phoenix but sucking some out with the syring. This helps with the air bubble issue.
