I build just using the screws. Seems too fiddly to me, to bother with getting the wire under the clamp. I build on top like any other atty with legs on bottom, then just push the coil down to 1+mm above the port. Just seems easier that way.

In fact, if you don't cut the excess wire really short on this atty, it can interfere with the threading when putting the tank back on the base. So I pull the wire straight up before cutting. At first, I'd cut like normal, then use the screwdriver to push in the "stub." But bending it upward before cutting solves this.

Nope I mean the PSBuerdo video said you could build it without using the sliding bar thing but on top of it as well.

Too incoherent to say much more yet. LOL.

For my first build I used the screws instead of the clamps because I didn't realize the clamps were there. lol.. I made the coil 6-wraps instead of my usual 9 and it vaped great. When it leaked overnight and I rebuilt it, I discovered the clamps which I've been using since.

Hmm that's interesting. I bold with the clamp thing because... It's there. I will have try the other way sometime, although I had a hard enough time stopping leaking my first wick despite some aid here and a good tutorial. It's fine now. I can't imagine the screws improving the flavor... But maybe they do.

I should just by another tank so I can compare.:D

Ooh... I think I may be moved by the time I ordered is all that is stopping me.

I do not trust our post office to forward mail at all. Like, not even SLIGHLY.

I've been weeding out and packing my vacopalpyse closet it is an entirely safe bet that I can wait. My husband asked me if the box was too big... I'm about 3/5 done and I don't think I will be able to PICK IT UP.

I don't think that's what he meant, though. Stuff is going PIF but AFTER we move not before. I couldn't handle a trip to the PO. Heh.

I got mine last week, here's some TRUE opinions:

Not bad at all.
Nice amount of vapour, AF can be set tight, just a bit tighter would be perfect for me.
Very smooth draw with smallest airhole. Looks fine and all parts fit together well.
I like the clamps as they let you install longer coils easily. Easy to wick and keeps up well, no leaks or gurgles (well some gurgle when very little cotton).

But found negatives also:
Flavor is not bad, but it's not the great flavor I was expecting.
Drip tip is useless, too wide and way too short, threw it away and put one from Dvarw in.

This problem is user- error but have to mention it:
Half the times I remove the deck I also accidentally open the top fill ports. And end up having some juice drops on my pants.
Not a big deal but wife got angry when she saw the stains, and accused me of watching porn all weekend when she was away :(

Okay, good excuse...BUT: Juice fill cap on the True opens counter clockwise, so you don't accidentally open it while unscrewing the atty. I think she needs to check your browser! ;)

And who even bothers with pants when there isn't a wife around the house to complain?

BrewArf, my TRUE mentor... I beg to differ with you. The True top cap opens clockwise (righty-tighty), and is definitely counter-intuitive. The lefty-lucy to close it is counter clockers. Again, also counter-intuitive.

Also, there is a sort of "double" close. Once one turns it back (left, counter), there is yet a bit more one can turn to fully close it.

I have been learning not to tighten my doggy so hard. I have rendered useless two tanks doing that, eh. Silicone seal gets worn away. Oh I have plenty more but I thought I would mention it.

Why is your wife mad about the porn? it's porn? That's almost like a universal human experience.... Maybe I am to progressive, IDK. But LOL

True, that, Kat. I meant it closes counter clockwise- which does prevent you from opening it while unscrewing the atty counter clockwise. And you're right, too, that it's counter intuitive to open clockwise. But I figured it was exactly for that reason- to keep you from accidentally opening it while removing from the atty.

But you can't account for all human error. I confess to accidentally opening or leaving mine open a couple of times. But on the bright side, it didn't cause any leaking or gurgling!

Human error, my specialty. I filled mine once and totally forgot to close off the top cap.

Then, I could NOT figure out how I lost a tank full of vliquid!!!!!!!

I really enjoy using Ehpro True MTL RTA and it’s all I’ve been using since I got it. When I try other tanks I’m wondering ‘why bother?” However, since I received my clone SXK Kayfun 2019 lite, I’m not sure which tank is #1 for me anymore. Easily the best Kayfun design I’ve ever tried. It provides great flavor with a little more throat hit than the True. On a scale of 1-10, I’d rank the True a 9 and the SXK Kayfun 2019 lite a 9.3. The drawbacks with the Kayfun design is a step backwards having a non-glass tank and bottom fill type design, but the draw I get from it is worth it. Why weren’t these terrific MTL RTA designs introduced years ago when I started vaping?

Yeah, I'm with you on the "why bother?" Since I've gotten my first True, I don't even care about trying another at the moment. My quest was always to get a more dense, solid vape with TH, and I just don't need it any more dense, or more TH at all. In fact, I used to struggle to get just the right wattage, with a slow draw exactly right, so I could get enough vapor on each hit. Now I can take hits with about half the volume of other tanks and be satisfied. I was up to maybe 3-3.5 ml/day, and I never empty a 2ml tank by the end of the day anymore, taking the same number of hits.

And I thought about the KFL19, but so many said the vape was about the same as the old one, but it was just simpler and more compact. The old KFL never came close to what I'm getting now, sooo... Also, going back to bottom fill and a grub screw port to accumulate condensate? No thanks for me. Glad you like the vape on this one as much or more than the True, though!
