Wait Nailz- after the last reply, I realized I'd seen you on the kayfun threads - the threads where everyone pays a LOT of money for an atty, then the thread is loaded with people that can't get them to wick right, are trying to figure out which o-ring to replace, where to get a grub screw (grub screw? In 2019?) that actually works and stays in place, the best way to bottom fill without leaking, how to get rid of the gurgling, and buys 3rd party options because kayfun's just weren't quite right.

Now I realize that was a jealous jab at the True! :)
Lol. I know I definitely preferred the true to the prime but i have to say the new reboot of the lite is an incredible atty. The filling and airflow that seem like drawbacks on paper turn into positives in operation.

Have a go with some nife 30 wire. The best build for tc is seven wraps of the 27awg at 2.5mm so basically a classic mtl coil. You won't believe how stable and accurate it is too.
Intrigued, Black wings - Nickel/Iron? Quick google mostly turns up Dicodes, who I know doesn't mess around when it comes to quality. What do you know about it? Safety? How it compares to SS? Gunk factor, etc.?

Yeah, truth be told, I love Kayfuns and owe them a debt of gratitude for their part in getting me a good enough vape to stay off of cigs (especially KM3).

And I kind of know what you mean about perceived negative potentially being a positive. The doggy that so many wouldn't try because of bottom fill, was actually very easy to fill (not as easy as True, but how long will the fill gasket last?). And that design is part of made it simpler and more leakproof imo. I'd need some convincing on that grub screw design, though- just a condensate trap, even if the screw is removed.

But yeah, if the True hadn't come along, I'd have been in line for the KFL19, no doubt.

Here's where I get mine but I will look for a local supplier.

From what I can see, most tc vapers around the world order from our very own stealthvape as they are one of the few stockists.
If you order some (and I recommend you do) check out the whole site as there's free stuff like muji, mesh and wire on most pages which you just add to your order.
The accuracy of nife 30 blew me away. Even gives me a pin Sharp vape on a standard firmware eleaf pico.

@Brewdawg1181 - do you still use/love the KFM 3s?

Kat Kurious~
Not so much, I guess, Kat. When I discovered doggies, km3 was pretty much replaced. Now that True came along, doggies have been replaced.

Now I keep 3 Trues, 1 doggie (sjmy) with unflavored, and an assortment of pods I try out for portability. That's pretty much the extent of my stable lately. When I find something that's "the best," I guess that's all I want.

Haven't even built a km3 in over a year, but they'll always reside in a place close to my (healthier) heart!

You've got me curious with this wire too. Especially as the shipping from Stealthvape to NZ is reasonable. I use ss316l in TC, via TCR mode.

Can you dry burn or clean a NiFe30 coil?

And @Brewdawg1181 - next RTA is a Hastur. And then I'll order a True, and it better not be tighter than a gnats .... ;)

Mabe it will not be tighter than gnat's .... but single 1.8mm max AF diameter will be tight...:D... in about a week I should receive my new tank ...

I hope it will replace my Fresia... I give up trying to make my Fresia to work...:(

One would hope not. Some of them have pinchers

Heh. Who needs rickrolling when you have gnat porn?

I use a coil brush but I have dry burnt a few times.

Thanks, dahlink, and I do understand.

I've only got one Tobeco KM3 and one SXK KM3 left from my stash. I'm thinking they need to go to a new home as I'm REALLY tanked out!!!
Awwwe, so sweet to think of me Kat! :)
I think I have one, fully functioning SXK, and a couple that need orings or parts. You gotta save one, just to go back in a few years and reminisce about the evolution of vape!

Tightness is probably somewhere between a gnat's ... and Dick's hatband.:)

At 1.8, it's fairly tight, Ange - tighter than I ever used a doggy or other atty. But somehow I don't mind at all - in fact, every now and then, I close it off to about halfway. On this one, you can actually get a more than satisfying vape when it's tight. I know you're going more toward more open draws, but then, so was I until this came along! I wanted more air to get more vapor, and you don't need a lot of volume with the True's density.

It's really hard to estimate what is a restricted draw.
A lot of us started vaping on 0.8- 1mm airflow so when the nautilus came out, the larger airflow choices where very much a restricted lung hit and the Atlantis that followed was a snorkel, lol.
As time has moved on the Atlantis would now be seen as a restrictive airflow against the massive airflow available on the modern huge coiled mesh tanks, let alone the truly huge rda's/rta's now available.
As someone who settled quickly into predominantly a mtl vaper it's so difficult to categorize the airflow.
When I review a tank these days I tend to try to relate the airflow to a few other tanks to give some idea of what to expect.
Thing's have moved on very quickly.

I've had a couple of issues with my Taifun GT III recently (I think I'm too rough with my gear), so rather than splash out of something expensive I wanted a cheap MTL RTA. I saw the True on the website I normally get my tobacco juice from. Quickly checked out some reviews, seemed P Busardo liked it and thought that for £24 it might be worth it.

Got it this morning. Swapped out the tank glass for the 3ml bubble version, did a quick build with 28g, 5 wraps, came out at 1.0ohm. Wicked with cotton bacon v2. Filled up the tank with Manabush Firewater No. 3 (basically tobacco, forest fruits and amaretto) and took my first vape.

Flavour was seriously impressive. In fact this juice tasted better than it does in my Kayfun Prime. I liked the amount of heat I got and the draw is really smooth. Kind of reminds me of the vape from my old Heron 1.5. No leaks at all, at least not until I refilled this afternoon with some Charlie's Chalk Dust Pacha Mama. Now it could have been me accidentally loosening the glass when I opened the top fill but I'm not so sure. I had some gurgling and juice even got sucked up the drip tip. Mopped up everything with some tissue and made sure the tank was fully tightened. Seems alright now but I think it might be struggling a bit with higher VG juice. I really like the included drip tip but was getting some spit back so I'm currently using the Teflon one from my GP Heron V2.

Early days so far but in terms of flavour, draw, filling and ease of build this seems a good buy. Still got to suss that minor leak issue, maybe wicks are too long. If I can do that I might have to stock up on some more of these.

Keep those wicks short. Martyn of manabush sussed that one off the bat.
If the wicks are too long it either wicks poorly or seeps.
I've manabush son of chich in mine currently.
I did not get on with the diffused airflow on the prime but the new lite is bloody good indeed.

I have three Trues now. Love this RTA. You do really need to be Just Fine with a straight up MTL draw unless you want to be drilling airholes and such. But flavor for days with this one...

    Anna
It is a fantastic tank and I love it but I still prefer the cthulhu mini. Flavour wise there's nothing in it for me but I like the aesthetics of the cthulhu.
    That said I use both.
