No idea. I'll just move on to the next tank. Then I'd check to see how to replace it. There'll probably be something better in the next couple of DAYS, though.
Dude, now why would you wish that on me?Think you mistyped years, fixed it for you ^^^^![]()
Wait Nailz- after the last reply, I realized I'd seen you on the Kayfun threads - the threads where everyone pays a LOT of money for an atty, then the thread is loaded with people that can't get them to wick right, are trying to figure out which o-ring to replace, where to get a grub screw (grub screw? In 2019?) that actually works and stays in place, the best way to bottom fill without leaking, how to get rid of the gurgling, and buys 3rd party options because Kayfun's just weren't quite right.Think you mistyped years, fixed it for you ^^^^![]()

Now I realize that was a jealous jab at the True!![]()
I think (and the general consensus is) that the True is far better flavour wise.I don't know if it is okay to ask this, but how is the True MTL RTA compared to Ammit MTL RTA. i'm now struggling to choose. i have read the reviews and discussions thread like this and the one for Ammit. all i got now is even more confusion![]()

I've had few issues barring the first time I set it up and it dropped a full tank, that was due to me wicking down to the base (the wicks must be off the floor).
I've seen a few reports of slight tolerance issue's in the second batch which required bigger orings fitted but everyone who's bought one since seems really happy.
My favourite juice maker here in the UK (manabush, desert tobacco's) uses about 16 constantly as testers in the store and they get cleaned and wicked daily without issue. He used to use the exquisite gp heron v1.5 for testing and they where legendary for flavour (and expensive) but found the True delivered even better flavour, so that's quite an accolade.
Definitely one to own for the flavour chaser.
ive tried it, found regular kanthal better.Thank you Black Wings, you got me with that comparison against GP Heron(not that i know how it vapes, but you mention expensive so that is why). will purchase it today
.
also have you or other True tank users here use clapton or fused clapton?
is the flavor significantly better than regular round wire?
Nice then i don't have to purchase that superfined mtl clapton.ive tried it, found regular kanthal better.
As above. I do prefer standard kanthal for mtl tanks (26/27/28awg) seven wraps around 2.5mm. Pretty classic stuff but as with the berserker, some who like to vape higher vg liquid in a mtl style have quite enjoyed the claptons.Nice then i don't have to purchase that superfined mtl clapton.
Regular wire with 26 or 28 gauge?

The supplied coils are actually of a high quality as the designer (nature vape) have been focused on rewickable coils since the early days of rebuilding protank coils. Very much there speciality but I'm a tobacco/desert blend vaper so they are also a bit quick to gunk up for me.I didn't trust the included coils so I didn't use them.
I use 316L 28AWG 3mmID 9-wrap (same thing I put on all my mtl decks) in temp control.
I've tried wicking short of the deck, right to the deck (which is what I have now), and past the deck so the tails are lying on the bottom. No leaking/gurgling problems with any of them.
50/50 vapes great on it. Lots of flavour and good vapour production.

Have a go with some nife 30 wire. The best build for tc is seven wraps of the 27awg at 2.5mm so basically a classic mtl coil. You won't believe how stable and accurate it is too.I tried the clapton that came with the tank. It was fine, but I really didn't notice a difference between it and my std. 316SS .28ga @ 2mm ID, 7 wraps. Except the clapton didn't last long at all before I needed to replace it. I use NET, and it seemed to gunk up way quicker than my round wire. I guess the irregular surface traps the TDS and impurities in NETs, and cover it up quicker.
