Lived in San Diego for almost 12 years and only made it to Tecate once. Never made it to TJ at all. No interest.

And now, I don't know if I'd even go as far south as San Yisidro. Don't want to tangle with any of that mess down there.

Another reason I go through Arizona plus fuel is cheaper

I thought about going to TJ was curious to see what the allure was then I realize I spent my while life 5 miles from bourbon street and there is no way I could see anything new.

The fuel thing struck me as odd. We have some of the cheapest In the country- most of it is refined here. Apparently though they have a pipeline that runs from here to between tombstone and Tucson. That feeds most of the west.
Thought that was interesting.

That's just cool!
The next vehicle I buy for me will be diesel. I can make biodiesel; easy conversion for the engine. And easier to make the e-liquid; and, I'm ok with fremch fry exhaust
If I were you stay away from the Chevys and GM's with the duramax diesel duramax translates to Isuzu diesel very under powered
