I don't recall this subject coming up when I got my MBA, of course that was mumble, mumble, years ago. So maybe they have biology courses in business schools now?

Seriously, nicotine does cause cardiac arrest...in chicken embryo's

also "Nicotine is known to be a notorious a vasoconstrictor meaning it constricts the blood vessels of the body resulting to high blood pressure"

So I suppose it's possible that if you have heart disease, a high dose of nic could set you over the edge into cardiac arrest. But as far as I know, all tests show that ecigs provide less nicotine into the blood stream than cigarettes.

So the moral of this story is if your are a chicken embryo dont use nicotine.
My blood pressure is really good and so is my SO, better than what it was when we were smoking. There are many other things that can cause cardiac arrest, and if you just happen to have one of these other things goin on at the same time of vaping, I can see how they would blame the nicotine first, most are conditioned to do so nicotine= tobacco=evil. Drs take the way of least resistance to find blame most times. Im sure to equal mg/kg what the chicken embryo got in nicotine would be way more than what we get from vaping.
Back in the 70s they gave rats saccarin, and said omg it gave the rats cancer, now what they didnt say you would have to eat a barrel of saccarin everyday for years to equal how much the rats got. Im not impressed with alot of the studies that are done, and you have to look at who is doing the study and why. What is the agenda behind the study.

I quit smoking 10 days ago. Since vaping, my resting heart rate has gone from 120 bpm down to 90. My weight has gone from 75kg down to 73.3. People tell me my skin is also starting to look better. Don't know what my bp is, but when I had my medical last year, it was 166/130. Bet it's gone down, too.

This guy sounds like he's PhD (piled higher and deeper) in B.S.see (BSc).

I don't believe the people here are trying to brag on their intelligence. They, and I was simply trying to state what a knucklehead the guy was that told the OP he was going to have a heart attack. His degree didn't make him qualified to make such bold statements. Those type statements cam only come from a heart specialist, not someone with a MBA.

I took horn (French) lessons from a doctor of music. If he told me I was going to have a heart attack, I would have laughed in his face! If he told me my horn playing was sick, I would have to listen to him.
