Care Package for a friend

I could use some suggestions on what to put into a care package for a friend who would like to start using e-cigs. She's short on funds to invest in a starter-kit that may or may not work for her, doesn't have a lot of time to invest in research, lives too far away from me for me to easily share my ever-growing stash, and really deserves something nice. So I'm putting together a care-package for her from my personal supply, and intend to fill in any bits and pieces with a *small* order from V4L.

Here's what I have for her so far: an auto shorty, a regular manual and an auto XL. I was going to include a manual XL as well, but my spare died... I also have an auto passthru, and a USB charger. Is that enough hardware to get her started, or should I buy another charger and maybe another battery?

Her care package also includes the extra Fruitbowl Sampler 18mg that I got as a bonus when V4L was out of my Grape order last week, and will include a tobacco shop sampler (11mg) and a package of blank cartos. I'm also including about 10ml of "Cowboy Lite" juice from another vendor (18mg and 24mg), and 7 or 8 small 2-3ml samples of my favorite juices. I'll also toss in whatever I've got in pre-filled cartos - maybe a dozen. I think I've covered enough of the bases to give her a leg-up, but if there's anything I'm forgetting or something else that you can suggest that would have been nice when starting out, let me know...

I think I'll toss some of the juices I don't care for up for swap, would like to round out her package without spending too much more. I'd appreciate any suggestions - I know that taste is subjective, but at least I can give her some good hardware to use and spare her the expense and ineffectiveness that I went through a couple months ago.

When I talk to friends about vaping I have a handful of home-made cards with all the websites I use for supplies and average price with shipping for things... gives research a starting place....

Sounds like enough hardware since she can use the battery with the pass through while charging. My 510 is used exclusively unless i have cartos, and it's worked out pretty well on one batt and a pass through. Two batteries should be enough enough for when traveling away from home/computer to charge with and give her the opportunity to keep one on the charger if she is out and about with access to energy. Oh please don't forget to warn her about automatics and dripping ^^

Exactly what I was thinking! She should also watch some of Snow's TeamKR808 Video Productions. Great way for beginners to understand the importance of carto and battery maintenance.

Along with the card that has all the different sites to visit on it I would also print or write out some of the directions for using a auto battery so it doesnt get ruined. I did this for my brother I wrote down all the websites that I liked the best and sent a few business cards in the kit, directions about dripping, how to use a manual battery, about how dripping with a auto can ruin it, how to fill and lightly blow out the cartos, just simple directions to make it a great experience. Don't forget to keep up the "you can do it" support over the phone.

Karsh if you can spare the extra cash, I would get a wall charger (Incase she only has a laptop like me and turns it off at night) Because then she can charge her batteries at night. I usually throw my laptop on hybernate and I can charge batts on it if need be.

If you are using anything other then a kr808d battery, which is the VK, I can pm you a store where to get adapters and such. I am trying to get a few of my friends started on it too, so I gave them all extra stuff that I had laying around when I got my mod.

If she smokes tobacco I would get her both sampler packs, and when wowboy comes back in stock buy her a few cartos (Or a 30ml bottle) Of that, I mean the 30 ml bottle is the same or a dollar or two more then the box, so usually it is worth to buy the bottle.

Like everyone said, tell her not to drip with an auto, cause the auto will die on her. Other then that, you have covered everything there is for beginners.

I was going to suggest a greeting card with the web address of this board and Snow's videos...I know your friend can't "click" from there, but it would make the physical package complete. USB Charger & Wall adapter (maybe a car adapter but may just suggest that she invest in one if she likes the PT)
Custom hand-crafted Taryn Spinner
Carrying Case - so far the only thing I don't have on hand....

20-ish assorted flavors / strengths of cartos (tobaccos, fruits, berries, whatever else I have lying around)
5 blank cartos
~30ml juice (maybe more)

Will include a hand-written letter (remember how fun it was to get those?) With the following:
Instructions for use of chargers and auto vs. manual batteries.
Cautions regarding auto batteries and dripping.
V4L cards and a hint to use the SMILIN code (or wait for the inevitable sale emails).
