My girlfriend moved in appx. 1 year ago. She brought with her a 5 year old Persian Cat. I have four dogs that 2 stay in crates, while the other two stay outside in a fenced in backyard.
I crate the inside dogs because I do not want my home to be damaged(carpet, furniture etc). They stay in the kitchen when not being crated and are trained not to come into the other living areas.
I agreed to allow her cat to have free roam of the rest of the home, which It is the first pet to ever have this courtesy.
The cat has pee'd or pooped at least ten times in the home(NOT in littter box)
It is not a biological issue, it is a behavioral issue that keeps getting worse.
My question to you fellow vapes and vapettes
is THIS- Get rid of the cat or allow him to continuously soil the rugs??
Please be honest and consider the circumstances/rules that were set to my dogs before the cat arrived.
Thanks in advance!!
