I had a black bear approach my tent one night on the Appalachian trail in Massachusetts of all places. Sniffed circles around my tent then paused.my heart was racing. We sat in silence then he pawned at my tent.

I would like to boast of how I took the bear down with my bare hands but the truth is I managed to scare it away by shouting and clapping.

Btw there was no food in my tent or anything he was just a curious rat.
Yeah, never food in the tent when bears could be around. Follow the triangle rule.

Wow....that sounds a little TOO exciting.
I haven't seen a bear in Arizona...but I have seen a Mountain Lion on my front porch and no, I didn't go outside to confirm it had gone away till the next morning.

We also have rattle snakes and thankfully I haven't seen any of those in the neighborhood but I know enough not to go walking in the desert at night. They are nasty little heat seakers.

One night many years ago (before we knew better - stupid tenderfoots) I heard a noise out on our 2nd floor deck. Went to the sliding door (only the screen was closed), clicked on the flashlight, and there was this enormous black bear boar standing on the deck sniffing our flower pots. Like 8 feet from my face. I'll never forget the sound it made flying down the stairs. That door hasn't been open after dark since then.

My only rattlesnake run-in was when I lived in Albuquerque. Went hiking up the west face of the Sandias early one Saturday morning. On the way down, a big rattler had decided to sun itself right in the middle of the narrow cliffside trail. Had to wait about an hour in the baking sun waiting for it to decide it was done and move on. I'll take snakes over bears any day.

Got the Atty3 in today. It is very well made and easy to build on. I have it at .3 ohms in dual coil setup. The thing vapes great. Flavor is pretty good and clouds are great. I am running the bottom air slots wide open and the top ones shut off. I don't like a tight draw, but I closed it down to pin holes and unlike the Hellboy, you can get an extremely tight draw on this one. This is a great little atomizer. I'm thrilled with this one.

Yeah, snakes don't like hot sun for a long time. It's safe to go hiking mid day in the summer (which is like a preview of hell) but at night they like to go hunting and anything giving off infrared is a potential meal...even if it's way too big. They can't seem to differentiate between between a mouse signal and a human leg signal.

My little weather station told me 116F in the back yard in Scottsdale. I'm trying to remember January but the memory is fading in the sun.

Actually the humidity was 13% today. What I really hate is July, August, early september when the temp is 105-110F and the dew pint is >50F.

I hear you...I'm heading to Ecuador next week...have a house there at 6,200 ft....stays about 70 year round.

Screw this nonsense.....

That screen was meant to be pushed right out :) it never even crossed my mind to vape it screen-in :)

Two weeks or so running vectors and they are all I can see myself using. What's gonna top it for an unflavored vaping squonker? I'm not seeing it :)
SupeRussell most ppl here are flavor chasers and no disrespect but your review on atties Like the Vector doesn't make sense to me?? I'm only mentioning this now because of all the complaints on the Vector??
leak proof..... ok great...... Easy of use ....gotcha...... . but FLAVOR is what I look for, and the most important characteristic for any atty I vape...GREAT YT video and I've been subd to your channel since you started and know that your skeptical about the safety of using flavors which is understandable but I think it's imperative that a review such as the Vector should include testing it with some sort of flavored eLiquid...... I don't have the skill or time to do reviews and other YT Vector vids that I watched were garbage.

Thank you brother :). Yes, you are a valued sub :). Man, it's not the safety concern with flavors, it's just that I can't tolerate em.

I've tried a few and they were ok, but they all have the same undertone - something that I can't stand the smell or taste of for longer than an hour.

I surely hope no ones buying products because I like em. I hope they are buying them cause they believe that they will like em.

For me it's rather simple though. Is it high quality, build easy, look good, not too tall and now, top air? If so its prolly gonna be perfect for me. Enter the vector. Who knows, maybe Tommy will find / make and sell an RDA that I find even better than the vector.

I'd really hate to think that people are buying stuff just cause I say I like it. Imagine what I could convince people to buy if I had a set of big boobies :)

Yes, vaping is all about subjectivity. I think it also has to do with the coil building and mounting capabilities as well as placement, wick media and wick mastery. I pretty much build all my attys the same or thereabouts. :)

I'm actually about to build vector number 4 right now. And let's remember, in not a reviewer - just an enthusiast with a camera and killer people like you watching my vids :)

I bought the Vector long before you said you loved it....BUT I believe I have purchased every other thing you recommended in your video's....guess I'm an odd one and have no regrets about buying the items you use...like the mods, coil-master, wire, cotton, etc, etc, etc, etc.

Have learned a lot from your YT vids, probably the best on YT, can't wait for the next one....!

Russ have you always done the no flavour - If not did you change nic levels if you have nic in your juice ?
Im good with the flavour but think with non flavour you may need some extra punch to compensate.

Yes, ever since I got my first volcano inferno tube back in like September 2012 and the highly recommended tobacco flavors from them I realized that I wished there was something available without the common undertone that I find all flavored juices to have. I tolerated V2 red flavor for about a month before getting the volcano setup. I actually used it in my slick inferno, but wished for something more bland.

Then I found ECF So I posted on here - "can anyone recommend something that resembles a Marlboro light?" I got the standard responses, ranging from "nothing resembles burning tobacco" to "try this RY4 blend" to "try fruits or bakery flavors".

But one bad ayuss suggested unflavored nic. It sounded perfect. He even told me where to procure it.

It was like when I got my first REO, or TMOD or Vector - but with the unflavored, As soon as I smelled it I knew it was me. I started with 24 mg 75 % VG and that was right about when I got my first REO. I was using cartomizers.

Then stayed at 24 even when I got the ballz to go RBA (I lost my virginity on a hornet and 4 wrap standard coil choked with CVS sterile rolled).

I've never gotten a nic buzz so I can't tell you what one is. But I did cut back to 12 mg right after I had that panic attack in 2013 cause I read allot about everything that could cause em and they listed nicotine and caffeine. I quit drinking espresso too. Cut brass out of my vaping diet too and the small part that couldn't be cut (the old REO 510) was pickled to remove lead. Got rid of anything with brass in the juice path. Woodvils, attys. everything.

So I remain today at 12-10mg but the VG is up to nearly 100% - prolly 95 - 99%.

That panic attack is long behind me. I'm back to drinking one to three double shot lattes every day,I exercise when I can, my cholesterols good and my BP is good. Life is good.

So no, I never increased my nic, I've actually lowered it in half :)

Damn. That is gonna be a wall of text :)

Well isn't that why we do research before buying something vape related, YT is where I turn first..... so yes if I like the presentation and trust your opinion I'm going to seriously consider it. I'm not the type of person that going to go out and buy fluorescent green mods because you say it looks cool that's very subjective...... But an atty that's easy to build..... tics the rest of my likes.... yes I'm going to buy it......especially if I think my vaping style is similar to the reviewers.......the only thing we differ on is flavored joose.

As far as juice goes...... If you haven't tried juice in a long time it's come a long way, there was a chemical taste that I remember when I first started vaping in 2009 I diy and now flavor enhancers mellow a juice out or bring certain flavors notes forward or bump up the back in multi flavored juices. I use to use a nic that was very peppery.... I found this nude nicotine that is flavorless, that aline made a huge difference ..... Might wanna try some premium juice.... I can recommend one that I don't think you could go wrong with. Try..... Vaping Birdy Empress penguin! It's been my ADV since I tried it a year ago! If you don't like it I'll buy it from you! Lol

I thought I remember in am Early YT video you saying until flavors are deemed safe you'll stick with flavorless.??

I subscribed Russ.
Thought I already had though , been clicking on them from inside ECF.
Friday is youtube download day for vids to watch.

Oh and most internet trolls are immune to logic.
Say is the vector on two holes open each side like the bellboy with two holes open each side.
Thats where Im at with that one and its good for me. manta v2 with full air which is less but good with the strength of vape.

Thanks man. Yeah, I've tried some flavors - premium ones, recently too. Tim Sloth sent me some and the cool vape shop up the street has some that smell great. But all of them, even just one drop in the REO bottle get to me after about an hour. I long for the bland goodness of nic base. I even made my own for a while that nearly exactly resembled the flavor that was ghosting in the only second hand (rare Woodvil) mod I ever purchased. It was by alien visions - cravaloupe. I mixed it lightly with TFA and it was spot on. But I quickly grew tired of it.

I have prolly said that I'm glad that I don't vape flavors cause who really knows what's in em or something smart add / cheeky and I'm glad I don't have added stuff but trust me, safety is not the reason I don't run em. Taste is.

And truth of the matter is, even if I thought an atty produced flavor that was amazing, the next person might think it sucks. And their build / wick could also have a lot to do with it :)

Total subjectivity that must be approached with objectivity :)
