Indeed......:)

Wakonda never tasted so good in any tanks I own, including high end.

Learned a hell of a lot from you folks about squonking, me and tanks are officially divorced.

Ordered two more BF mods yesterday.
Is there any vectors left
If yes what was the price
Thanks

Ditto LittleBird...now have eight squonkers and a tackle box for atty's.

The tanks have been placed in the isolation ward.....:)

Wish someone would have taken me by the ear and said "try this", you'll thank me later.
Yep. Saved three tanks for traveling. The rest have been PIF'd. As to squonkers, well ... let's just say that I can be very creative in justifying the need for yet another one! And of course, each squonker must have its own atty, right?

That Velocity rda looks like it could be pretty interesting, as long as you like dual coil atties.

penny for your thoughts Tom?

Velocity RDA

Edit: assuming they are going to do more runs of the authentics

I have one but I'm not convinced it has what it takes to be a great BF atty. needs a lot of power, and even bottom fed correctly I get a lot more leakage than I'm happy with. I will say if supplied with enough power it does clouds and taste better than most but by my calculations I'm putting more than 80 watts to it. It laughs at my sunboxes, Reos need not apply. The Velocity on a 2s squonker is nice but for our applications it's older more refined brother works a lot better not to mention is as tall as 3 derringers.

I agree.

I'm running dual TP coils in my Velocity with a combined indicated resistance of 0.08Ω. I have the DNA40 board in my tibs2 LIPO set at 500°F & 35W.

I have to fully close the indirect AFC holes and crank the direct AFC slots down to 1/3 open to get my preferred vape. 30 drops of e-liquid are gone in an extremely short time. There's no way my regulated squonker, with a DNA25 board, could do the Velocity any justice. Even if I threw a -40 board in there, I'd be swapping bottles faster than I could refill them.

Thats why I think it'll do very nicely on a dual 18650 mod with a a 10ml bottle. Seems like a match made in cloudy heaven.

JDTech has told me the 22 I just got was the last of them. I will be pressuring them to make more, I can be VERY persuasive. Most atty companies have zero interest in me selling their products because I don't have a Vape Shop as well as the fact that I'm chopping up their products. You wouldn't believe how hard I had to fight to get the first run of Derringers or worse yet the Marquis. The Marquis required 10+ hours on the phone with Cisco.

As for JDTech, I don't understand why mod and atty makers, just stop making what is generally regarded as a very good product, which the Manta is, for a bottom feeder. Although I have no idea how it has been reviewed by the conventional dripping crowd.

Only one atty per squonker?? I've kinda liked having the convenience of having two for each ;) keeping the spare fresh wicked and ready.

The only downside I have for the Manta is those %$&@#*& ID o rings on the top cap. The top cap fit with both of the o rings in place was a little tight so when someone mentioned removing one of them I thought I would give it a try. The fit was great with one but I found that I sometimes moved the airslot off of alignment during use so I decided to put the second o ring back in.

At first i swore I had the wrong o ring. It seemed 7 sizes too big to go back in there. After spending a long time and a few choice words I did manage to get the thing back in place but there has got to be a trick that makes it easier.....unless that's the reason that no more will be made. Who can tolerate the labor cost to assemble that thing? :)

If you want to replace one of those o rings don't give up. It will go but plan to spend some major time doing the job.

Why did they choose ID rather than OD o rings? Sheeeesh.

Tom a massive thanks again. Returned from vacation to find catfish attys had kindly been left in a safe place by my postman, he's a top guy!

Two vectors one stumpy and one atty3. Threw a twin tiger coil on the vector coming in at 0.24ohms, this thing was crackling and popping all over the place. The Tmod took this one as I've heard it does well with the vector in this range. So for me I'm going to have to play again with this build as it's just not singing. The flavour is a little muted despite the tiger coils, tbh I'm happier at 0.4 so think I'll rebuild with normal kanthal to judge it then. It's an amazing manufactured arty, AFC is the best I've seen so I hope my results get better.

Next up the stumpy, again an amazing built atty, again you can see the quality! This time thre in my normal build which came put at 0.38ohms

Next the vape, WOW the stumpy is a winner, this thing in my eyes as good as the manta for flavour and I'm a big manta fan like most. You know the feeling you get when you receive 3 or 4 attys and wish all of them were your favourite, well the stumpy is that one for me! For those thinking about trying the stumpy it's a definite winner in my book!

Not built the atty3, bought a square atty with only curved mods for it to go on which just looks bad. Waiting on an E8 so will try it as soon as I have that in hand.

On point, dude. Build it, assemble it (painfully), and forget it until the wick and coil scream in pain.
