Ok I'm tossing the tips that I made for the vector and I'll have complete replacement top pieces for the vector. Pull your drip tip / afc off and replace. They will be delrin black only and they WILL ACCEPT ANY DRIP TIP. I will have a limited supply.

Put me down for one. Thanks

Yo chowder. What's the difference between this manta v2.2 and the authentic one you sent me recently? I haven't had the chance to even look at it yet, so I'm wondering.

There is no 2.2. There is only a Manta2. I suppose the 2.2 would be describing the manta2 my second run of them. Your was part of the first run.

In the future if you feel you have received a sub-standard product from me please send me an email and give me 24hrs to figure out a resolution. Trolling and spamming me paints a very inaccurate picture of me and the services I provide. I am not perfect as hard as I try. In the case of the most recent issue I probably should have directed him to contact JDTech right from the start but I try to insulate you guys from the nitemare of dealing with the manufacturers, perhaps I shouldn't. The issue at hand was JDTech cut 2 corners in the final finishing process and if I had seen them I would have corrected them but I didn't see them. The resolution offered was to send it back and I will see what JDTech wants to do about it. JDTech responded quickly and stated that they will send me a new Manta2 via Regular mail (30+ days) I told them to hold it until my next order so it would arrive in 3 days. JDTech is run buy a bunch of humans, they make mistakes too, they did what they could to address this issue as did I. The rest you have seen plastered here.

The Element Stubbys were just delivered, I opened one and wow! These are authentic Marquis nice! The Stubby is not eligable for payment yet, I need to ship a bunch of orders first. It's been another banner late week/weekend for catfish and I am trying to get everything packed up for Monday. Manufacturers keep telling me that bottom fed is a fad, I just don't see it. Thanks again guys.

Sloth.. this morning (with fresh taste buds) I tried the Vector and Derringer side by side, Derringer definitely has much better flavor....for my taste anyway.

Need to try some different builds in the Vector....perhaps lower the ohms a tad and crank up the watts even more.....idunno....prolly won't help, was getting spit-back when I cranked the .55 coil wattage up, may try putting the screen back in.
I have compared flavor for the Vector and the Manta v2 with several builds each and I find the Vector several steps down. They are both dead easy to build on and both have top airflow so for my style of vaping I don't expect the Vectors to make it out of the drawer very often.

In twenty years we might have a tank or similar structure that can feed juice properly and not require an engineering degree to wick with no leaks. Until then, RDAs will beat tanks. And bottomfed RDAs are vastly more convenient than breaking out the juice bottle every few minutes. So in twenty years I might give up the "fad".

Anyone remember when I got my REM, and expressed that I didn't like it, and though it had nothing to do with Catfish whatsoever (his work on it was phenomenal, my issue was with getting it built lol), and low and behold Tom offers for me to send it to him so he can coil it to send back to me - and - if I still didn't like it with his working build in it, he would trade me for a Derringer? That was hands down the best customer service I've ever seen. That was beyond customer service. My issue had nothing to do with him! I was blown away by his generosity--needless generosity. Business wise, he had nothing to gain from that - I was gonna keep buying attys regardless as my issue had nothing at all to do with him. All I'm saying is: Tom ROCKS.

Hear you, Duane....I'm on the Manta v2 list....I'll stick with the Derringers, Marquis', until Tom gets the Mantas out.

The Vector is shelved here too...its not for me, really lacks flavor for my taste buds.

I got my Vector on Thursday and immediately built it with 26g, 5wrap, 2.5mm at .45ohms. I know I didn't get the coils place just right and I also left the screen in. The first couple vapes were great, but I guess the condensation collected on the screen and made lung hits almost impossible. I knocked out the screen and it was fantastic! Yesterday, I rebuilt using my favorite 3x30 twisted on a 2mm, for .25 ohms and that knocked it out of the park! Still at all air holes open, the flavor wasn't quite as good as the Derringer. I backed it off to 3 holes and that kicked it. I love this thing and hopefully, I'll get another soon. I don't have a Manta, and can't afford another original right now, but hopefully sometime in the future I will.

Just received this email, this kind of thing gets me really upset, it's totally offtopic, but I'm venting.
I'm forced to stand next to chain smoking stinkers, to vape. I can't stand the smell or smoke they breath.
Here's to my health, go stand next to a smoker if you choose to do the thing that looks like smoking.

"company name omitted " supports a healthy work environment for our employees and guests.

.

Smoking, including so-called electronic cigarettes, is prohibited in any customer building or facility, or in any Company-owned or -leased building or vehicle. Smoking is only permitted in appropriately designated areas 25 feet outside of a building. Also, the cigarette containers for discarding unused portions of the cigarettes must be at least 25’ from the occupied buildings in case they smolder and have a potential for combustion.

Smokeless tobacco: Please make sure to dispose of any smokeless tobacco products in a proper container. Do not throw it out at the entrances of any office building. Do not place in any waste baskets in any offices.

Failure to abide by this work method is subject to disciplinary measures that may include termination.

The Employee Assistance Program is available to employees who wish to seek assistance with Smoking-cessation.

Smoking generally means inhaling, exhaling, burning, carrying or possessing any lighted tobacco product, including cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, or any other lit tobacco products. For purposes of this work method, the term "Smoking" shall also include the use of an electronic cigarette or any other device intended to simulate Smoking.

Is THAT what I'm trying to do? "Simulate" smoking? I had no idea...

Yes, that is what you are doing, says the company I work for's health authorities.
I'm going to have to take a walk, the whole statement is infuriating.
I'll take some time, collect my rage, find some peace, then compose an email in response.
I don't know how long that time will take to find peace, but I will. Now back to vaping. :D

I agree. I'm trying real hard to like the Vector. But it's just not for me. I've monkeyed with the air flow, switching between 3 holes on each side and 4. Made a tip for it, because I disliked the factory set up. It's a beautifully made atty, for sure, and Tom's work is excellent, as usual. But it's going on the shelf. The Manta clone is going back on the Woodvil, at least until I can replace it with another authentic Manta.
