I've been refraining from commenting on it, don't want to flame wharfrat but.. I also had an issue with my Manta 2. The negative post overhung the positive deck (a JDTech design oversight, IMHO), resulting in what I'm guessing was a small stable arc, giving a relatively low conductivity (relatively high resistance) with no wire attached. I quickly sent Tom an e-mail, in a fashion similar to screaming fire in a crowded theater. His response? A fast, professional, helpful reply that lead to me sending it in to him for correction.

So based on my experience, I'm gonna say wharfrat is spamming/flaming for little to no reason.. I'm betting Tom was more than willing to do anything feasible to address the issue. Tom, I'm saddened you're having to deal with such nonsense.
Actually your was my fault... When I re-threaded the positive post510 I didn't thread deep enough for the 6mm long screw. I have since realized that switching from a 6mm screw to a 4mm long screw also fixes the problem. Yours will get a new pin if anyone else has this issue just let me know and I will send you a replacement pin.

Oh But look at this!!! Build it, test it and fire it. I am so getting one of these...

I saw that on the USA site. Looks cool. But then I thought: You still eventually have to take the atty off the meter, and screw it on the mod. Why not test fire and wick it on the mod?

Looking at it more in terms of a sturdy build platform. The multi test feature is a bonus and apparently you can dry burn as well. I would imagine that if the atty fires correctly on this, it's going to fire correctly on the mod. In any case, a black with blue LED on the way...

I think the issue with rebuilding on a mod is that for very low resistance coils, they lack the accuracy to allow confidence in a build.

I've seen some of these advertising accuracy of 0.018Ω and i believe it.

I love the USA meters, but the one I bought, I never used it for about 4 months. I finally put it to use and it lasted me a couple of weeks and crapped out. Unfortunately, it was well past the warranty period, but they gave me some things to check, but I couldn't get it running again. I might get another eventually.

No, it's just blue anno. It's actually 2 shades darker than I would like. The line-up will change drastically when my sx350j TMods arrive... Hint...
What finish are you going with on the sx350 Tmods?

Just stating the obvious but, did you check the battery?
