This on my chalice II not the new Chalice III. Love them both.

Here's where I get my wire from Resistance Wire
I got this at lowes Shop Kobalt 18-Piece 5-in Multi-Bit Screwdriver at Lowes.com
Works great the plastic bit holder slides off.
Post a pic of your coil. the length of the legs adds to the ohms of the coil, moving the coil below slightly counter clockwise would shorten both legs and reduce the ohms of the coil.
The air holes on my 3 Chalice IIs are all offset not centered between the posts. In the picture above it would be at 3 o'clock, dead center with the fire button. This also helps with the airflow since the air hole is usually between the posts and side of the coil would face the hole.
Just need to make sure the coil body itself isn't touching any of the post.
I wanted to buy 29g but RTD didn't have any that I saw. Going to buy that next. Ok...broken record here but this is for sure my fav BF atty. even wrong ohms, untightened screws and a wonky looking long leg, it's vaping awesome

as long as there tight don't worry about how much they stick up, they will stick up a bit with 28ga as that's about as heavy as you can go with stock posts
I've tried both multiple times and just prefer the vape and performance of the spaced. It seems to give me more of warning of the dry hit about to come and more hits per squonk.Man you folks use reallllllllly spaced coils, no luv for tight coils on the C3?

I saw others and wanted to try spaced.
Before this I was running a micro, and it vaped great...
And what's the verdict?
