All I can say is that we have no clue what chemicals they put in those tobacco cigarettes to keep you hooked. Everyone is different, but this is both a psychological and physical roadblock. I can say for sure, once you take that leap of faith, within days your mind and body starts forgetting that whole tobacco burning smoking thing. You mainly need the nicotine, find a flavor you love, get a level of nicotine in that flavor that satisfies you, and when you've convinced yourself that you are tired of the physical and monetary damage that cigarettes are causing not to mention the hundreds of other negatives about them, just take the leap, the nicotine is your parachute, vaping assists with the habit, together they can keep you away from smoking tobacco. I have no evidence but I guarantee you that cigarettes have something else in them that make us addicted to them, you gotta break away and not look back, it's easy after a few days of only vaping.
Edit: oh and I agree wholeheartedly, the whole smoking thing has us hooked to the point of believing we will be crippled without them. It's not true, vaping is the answer if you want to get away. Just make the decision to do it, and don't look back.
