Hi everyone, I trust that you are all doing well. I have just heard from Blues and Rave and they are doing OK. Rave is working on trying to get her Medicare started and how to get her MS medication once she has to be on Medicare as once Medicare starts she will no longer qualify for assistance and her MS med is $3000/mo. She is going to contact the MS society and the Montel Williams MS society, if anyone has any other ideas please let her know.

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS:

The web site of the National Broadcasting Company (NBC), NBC.com, is currently compromised, and is redirecting tens of thousands of legitimate users to multiple exploits serving malicious URLs and malware dropping malicious URLs. It appears that there are multiple exploits links on the NBC website. These links appear to be serving up the “Citadel malware”. Anyone that visits the site (which includes any sub page) can/will have malicious iframes loaded as well redirecting the user to exploit kits:

*Update: Not only NBC.com, but many other NBC sites, including Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jay Lenos garage and others.

I have a friend who works from home, for one of the local universities, and this was sent out from her home office. Anyone? I get my news online from MSNBC, and am suddenly feeling deprived.:( As usual, our local online news has nothing to say about it.

I Googled it and checked Snopes, and I found no info on it. Maybe it's breaking news, and the info hasn't gone up on the net yet, but otherwise, it may be a hoax.

Interesting stuff today.

FArmgal - Nice to meet you.

Raven - Sorry to hear of your troubles with Medicare. I don't have any great ideas on that:(

Kico - Nice to read your posts:)

Hi to everyone else, as well

Went to the city. Got a pony sized halter. Fits good and was $4 off:)

Went to Dickies and I am telling you. Running to the restroom now. Don't think we will be eating there again.

Hubby wanted to go by the chainsaw shop. We saw a Mantis tiller and the guy said $60. I said "Sold". Yeah, I needed a little tiller:)

Pizza for dinner - home made with italian sausage - if I am going to be able to eat:(

In an apartment I used to live in, there was one in the hall near the bathroom door. if you took a shower and then opened the bathroom door, the smoke alarm went off. Crazy!

Here's another classical piece: Händel - Arrival of te Queen of Sheba - Best-of Classical Music - YouTube

I was just playing MahJong Solitaire, and my version has music that can play while you're doing the game, and it's just ID'd as "Sheba," so I decided to search for it on YouTube, and this is what I got. I like this version much better than the MahJong version. No comparison!

You will love that little tiller. I have a Sears Craftsman (made by Mantis same tiller). I till my 75' X 75' garden every year with it no problems at all. Garden used to be 100' X 100' but I had to put in a new septic system and it took part of my little plot. Crap won over veggies

It's about time to say good night. This evening, I'm posting a picture of a common wildflower, Queen Anne's lace. But this photo is from the back side, which is not so common. I like the way the flower reminds me of a snowflake, so it's appropriate for a snowy day, but it's a summer flower, so it should please those who don't want to be reminded of winter.

Glas to hear I am going to like it:)

I've been lobbying for the Mantis tiller for several years. We bought a great big rototiller and I told him I needed a little one when we bought that one a few years ago. I cannot wrestle with that giant tiller. Hubby can still do most of the rototilling but least I can put in some peas or some such and not be trying to turn the dirt by hand.

The price tag was right, too.

Thanks for the update on Rave and Blues. It seems like Rave is looking at the best options available. These sources have provided great support for my husband to be able to afford his medications. Please let her know that she and Blues continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Here's a photo that I hope will make everyone laugh. I was driving someplace and spotted this and had to pull over to get a picture. It was in the front yard of some company, with the company's name painted on it, so I think it's very good advertising, since it's so eye-catching.

Eye-catching is right! For some reason, this picture makes me think of a toy. A future idea... "Farmer Barbie"... all pink farm accessories.

Good Morning Volties! Rise and Shine!! :) Coffee's on and some french toast is coming up.

It's a cold and dreary morning today with a freezing rain/snow coming later today. Not feeling my best lately... As much as I hate to admit it, I believe I will have to visit my doctor shortly. My knees have been giving me a fit, very tender to the touch. I'm not having a problem walking around and they are not keeping from doing anything, but very painful during the night. Maybe I just have to give it more time.

I'm sorry to hear your knees are bothering you. Do you know what's causing it? Arthritis?

French toast sounds like a good idea. Maybe I'll make some for myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the coffee, Joanne. French toast? Yeah!!!!!!!!!

Hope the knees get better. Sometimes, when you know you are going to be sore, you can make sure you take an ibuprofen or aspirin before you go to bed. Pro active pain management.

Well, have to clean a house today. Not feeling 100% myself. I'm wondering if I got food poisoning from eating out yesterday. Just four hours of cleaning and I can come home. If I leave at 8 I can be home by 2pm. First and last time for that restaurant.

Have a great day, Volties.

Bob and Fred, close friends ended up at the same time at the same barber shop
As they sat there, each being worked on by a
different barber, not a word was spoken.

As the barbers finished, the one who had Bob in
his chair reached for the aftershave.

Bob was quick to stop him saying, "No thanks, my wife
will smell that and think I've been in a house of ill repute."

The second barber turned to Fred and said, "How about you sir?"

Fred replied, "Go ahead; my wife doesn't know what the inside
of a house of ill repute smells like.
