You know, the warnings signs were there. The potato salad didn't seem icy cold to me. [Food should be either hot or cold] There was a large sign on the meat warming oven to clean thoroughly including taking the pans out. [It isn't rocket science to clean thoroughly and that kind of signage can mean poor training.] The beans were so mushy I was wondering if they were from yesterday or even the day before. The people looked very unhappy to be working there.
We should have asked for our money back but since Hubby has been saying how good the food was at his job when they a catered meeting, I just shut up and tried to see if I liked it. I have left restaurants before ordering if I thought they looked poorly run.
Turns out his company catered that meal all the way from the Reno restaurant. Now we know why!
Sometimes I think I am paranoid about food. On the way home we decided that maybe the food hadn't agreed with us but it was okay until about 5 hours after eating and I had to run for the house. My gut is still rumbling and burning but so far it looks like I will live. I'm going with toast with honey for breakfast.
Poor thing, Joanne, you took quite a tumble. More than likely you are just healing up still since it has only been 8 days. The swelling is going down so that is good. Obviously, at some point, if it keeps bothering you, you can head to the doctor.
Unfortunately, chondroitin and glucosamine didn't do a thing for me and I stopped wasting my money after 6 months of giving it a chance
