I have an orange charcoal pencil I could do the tree in. Would that look stupid in a B&W drawing?

The thing I don't like about it in B&W is that it is so dark because most of the snow is in shade.

Did everybody miss this question or was it too stupid an idea that nobody wanted to say?

This was regarding the snowing river pic.

Without a doubt it was not a stupid question . . .

However, It is "Your" choice - YOU ARE THE ARTIST - be it totally done in B&W or with just one or all the trees done in orange . . .

AND - To be very honest - I think it would look great if you did, especially since it would emphasize what "YOU" found important or should stand out in "Your" Drawing . . . :D

(As "You" can also see by the way in which - I use the editor to modify "My" post using different text sizes or bolding/underlining certain words or some with color or even adding smilies in some . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;))

While they are photos - Here are just a few of examples:

Hi, Uncle. I really like the use of color and b&w in that balloon photo!

Is this Uncle speaking or Rave?

Thanks for your feedback. I might just do that tree in gold just to see how it looks. I'm curious now. :)

Yes, I've noticed that. :D

While they are photos - Here are just a few of examples:

I like the subtle color in b&w, like in the first 2 pics but those bright red flowers & balloons don't do anything for me.

Good morning artists and others. Have some coffee.

I wore myself out last week trying to get all the whacking, raking and burning done in the yard and I am still tired today. I need to clean a house today and go grocery shopping. I'm picking up something easy to cook while I am at the grocery store.

Time to feed the critters and get organized for my cleaning job.

Thanks for doing this Sandy. It doesn't look like the pencil eraser will work for me. You've saved me some money. :p
It might make your white pencils a little more effective though...
But yeah, getting fine points in any eraser is tough - because they're so soft, they get really wiggly and break off. The eraser pencils are a little stiffer than the click ones you've been using, but still.

He looks like a real sweetheart. What was his name? Tell us about him.

His name is/was Buzz. I didn't pick the name. I had to sell him because he was eating better than me.He was near 30 when I sold him to a friend. I bought him as a rescue horse. He was skin and bones because he was pastured with a dominant mare and he would get what she left. It was really sad to see. I fattened him up and he was so gentle, rarely spooked and loved to run. He was the perfect trail horse. One time we were trail riding and came across a black bear cub rolling in the bushes by the side of the trail. I didn't see the cub until we were right next to it. Buzz wasn't bothered in the least but I sure was because I didn't know where mama bear was so we got the hell out of there fast. LOL! I really miss him and haven't ridden since I sold him many years ago. I had him for 10 yrs.
