Duotones are a PITA (even in Photoshop, like I used to do), but they do add a lot of depth. But either way, you've got my vote! ;)

I think I asked Rave about doing this but I can't remember if I did or not or what she said. She probably said something like...It's your drawing, do what ever you like. I don't want it to look stupid though.

I forget why this thread was interrupted and started again, but I don't think it was because of size. I think it had something to do with Smokeless Image's status on ECF. They were applying for vendor status (or something like that) and finally got it, so we had to start the thread over again. It was fairly painless, though sometimes right after the split, referring back to old posts which were on the other part was hectic.
I think it was the original one, Sandy. There was that one time when they automatically split everything up over x number of posts. But then it quickly got put back together again.

That would be cool. It would be like it's on fire amidst all that snow. The tree in the middle, right? :)

So all of the golden trees and grass.

haha I had forgotten this photo was in color. I see it now. But if it were me, I would still just pick one tree. Dunno why. But now it's the tall one at the right.

Yes, the one on the right for sure. Maybe the rest of the golden trees in the background and the grass along the river would be too much.

I started lurking that thread right around when you joined. Then my V2 stuff died (just after 5-6 months) and I was finally able to switch over to Volts and join in about 3 months later.

I hate to admit it and I probably shouldn't say this but I've never tried a Volt. I only used stick ecigs for a couple weeks then moved on to an ego.

LOL. They have more than cigalikes. Check out their website. I have moved on, but it is good for a beginner.

All I saw was the MVP and the Spinner. I've moved on from those.

I agree, they would be good for beginners. I've heard a lot of good things about the Volt cigalikes.

I'm a Spinner girl myself now. Gave away all my sticks and trying to talk myself into going fatter now (kicked mech mods). Still a little too fat for me right now (really comfortable with my Spinners), but FT just came out with the really pretty brass Caravela clone. Once they come out with the matching head, just might have to go fatter.

So glad you found your way here anyway. Been fun, especially when you brought along the other stragglers! :pop::laugh:

I got by for like a year with just the Volt cigalikes and cartos. They're so much better than the other brand I was using (almost didn't make it with those). But I had to carry around and maintain FIVE of them every day. :grr:

I have a Spinner but never use it. It's ok but I can't use my big 'ol RBAs on it. LOL! I'm going to give it to my brother's foster kid that is trying to stop smoking. She's been vaping disposables when she can get them but ciggies are easier for her to get. She tried my Spinner and really liked it.
