He is very controlling of her. My MIL doesn't smoke. She did like 20 years ago. When she saw mine, she liked the, and said she wanted one especially when she found out I have been losing weight since using them. I bought her the pro starter kit with 0 nic cartos.

Maybe when she starts developing that svelt bod and extra energy for (ahem - fill in the blank), he'll feel differently...

I saw a guy the other day barbecuing soy / vegetarian burgers and dog type sausages on the TV. They were letting die hard beef people try them without knowing... They were getting some pretty good reviews... Maybe you could try that Cindy. I am sure there are recipes everywhere...
I have both in my fridge, but there's something about the ones with the bagel bread already wrapped around them (Nathan's?)...but thanks! Then you know how you try to improvise with substitutes and it doesn't quite hit the spot? That just makes it worse! But it'll pass...after I eat a bowl of cereal...with raisins...and cinnamon...

Zero nic. Hm. Excuse my discourtesy and disrespect, but FIL needs to take a flying leap, just so long as MIL does not return to smoking. If Smokeless Image and the Volt had been around in my Mom's time, I know for a fact she'd have quit smoking, she would have had every green battery there was in multiples with green leds, plus the rainbow, and lots of diamond tips, and she would have had an organized drawer of prefilled cartos to choose from, and my brother would be filling cartos for her from liquids. And, my dad would have been happy to let her to satisfy those cravings she could never get over (he'd harumph a time or two, but no smoke and tar and carcinogens), just to keep her away from cancer if nothing else. Her favorite flavors and liquids would have included some kind of coffee, pomegranate, huckleberry, RY4, Ice Menthol (a lot of this), perhaps 555, and maybe a smattering of others. And, she'd be buying kits left and right for her friends and family. The novelty might have worn off at some point in the spending curve for others, but she would have been addicted to SI and the Volt, and she'd have been happy and healthy and alive.

/jumps of soapbox.

My DH never smoked a cig in his life and he wasn't real happy that I was a smoker. I told him when I converted to PVs and I do believe he is pleased about that. I don't understand a spouse being anything but supportive.

My sale order shipped yesterday.....I didn't order till late Saturday night. But it got to my sort facility this evening and should be here Thursday.

So no vape mail for me today, BUT my vcr/dvd player came and I set it up. Love devices with HDMI hook ups! One cord; plug one end in vcr/dvd and one end in tv and ...DONE! Well, a little bit of setup when I first turned it on. So far working great.

Well dang - I missed being in on the excitement of Holly getting her Volt, but at least I got to enjoy it after the fact. Holly - you are an official Voltie!

Konstantine - I hope your knee feels better soon. View attachment 113967

Mroutlaw - Sorry you didn't get your package today. View attachment 113968

Holly - You seriously brightened my day. (((HUGS)))

Always feels good when you refer someone and they like the product, but holly brought that feeling to a whole new level. Thanks holly.

Of course, SI makes it easy to refer people. You know that the person you refer is going to get a great product and be treated like loyalty by the cs staff

Maybe cuz she hasn't smoked in 20 years? I can kinda see it, but I don't think he's concerned for her health or his discomfort - maybe it's the cost of a new hobby or something. May seem like a frivolous waste to him. My mom is always trying new fads. Luckily, she's the breadwinner, so my stepfathers could never say anything.

He hates cigarettes, alcohol and just about any other vice.

She has to do everything and anything he asks and ask for permission to do anything she wants. If she wants to come to our house for a couple of hours, she has to get permission. But, he does as he pleases.

Plus she was raised Church of God, so her cousins would give her a really hard time. You are talking about women who have never cut their hair in their life, wear full length skirts while tending the farm and have never touched a cigarette or drop of alcohol. They gave her a hard time when she wore a diamond ring to a family wedding last month.

It's best that she vape when she's alone or with us. She has plenty of down time since my FIL is always galavanting.

He never knew she smoked. It's not the cost, he will spend 100k on stamps in a day and then hell at her for spending $10 in a thrift store. To top it off, it won't cost her anything. I bought the kit and will DIY her some coffee juice. That's all she wants anyway and I think it's the easiest to DIY.
