I'm lucky in that aspect my Mother vapes and she used to smoke. What you can do is print off that info about e-cigs that is on the forum for new members about e-cigs and give it to her to read. That may ease her mind.
Should have stayed in bed. My back is sore today for no reason I can think of. The new CE3s have primer in them and a lot of them have stress cracks. Looks like all of the center posts in them are low from casual examination (I don't have a depth guage and it's too early for me to jerry-rig one). One of them died, halfway through a nice, new flavor I was enjoying, so now I've got to clean another new one, empty the dud and start over. Icing on the cake is that I have three 78mm batteries that seem to have died at once, but I do have three more 78mms and three X2-650s to carry me over. Maybe I'll just go back to bed and get up tomorrow, uh oh, can't do that with a sore back.
Wow - SandySu and Raynes - Such amazing stories! You're both incredible! You've both overcome such obstacles that have been placed in your path.
Here's the thing - I understand wild animals better than anyone I know because I have studied them intensely all of my life -BUT- no one can ever "read" how they will react or what they will do from moment to moment. Even supposedly "domesticated" wild animals are still instinctually wild. That much I know. And I do respect that. Awsum - don't misinterpret "I thought we had a connection". When I have been with wild animals, I can "feel" whether or not they see me as a threat by their vocalizations and body language. Understanding full well that this can change at a moment's notice. Still - I have had wild deer walk up to me and sniff my hand. I knew by their body language that it was curiosity only. I've also been treed by a moose. I knew by his body language that he just wanted me out of his territory, and he would have killed me given half a chance.
I knew that I had a connection with the tiger because of the vocalizations that he was giving me. These were the sounds that a tiger makes when he wants to be friends and play. His body language was in full play mode. A connection had been made. But, yes, it could have gone bad. That was the risk that I took to have the experience. At one point, it looked like it had gone bad; but it was no different than when two domestic cats are wrestling with each other in play. Gees - you're gonna have a fit when I post "Florida".
We all have our passions. Mine has always been wildlife and creating wildlife paintings. I take risks in order to enjoy that passion. In order to create paintings of an animal that accurately portrays their spirit, you really need to experience them. Many may think that I'm crazy, but it is worth the risk to me. The only time I've been really injured was by a black bear sow. I had not seen that cubs were present. My bad. It coulda been worse. And the fact of the matter is: I have MS. My capabilities are shrinking one by one. I intend to live my life to the fullest while I am still able. Anything less than that is not living. Not to me.
Oh, no. Sorry, Awsum. Hope the rest of your day is great.
Good morning, Volties.![]()

You know, since I started vaping, I drink less coffee. I still love it, but because I am now drinking a lot more water, I have cut down on the coffee.

Good morning Volties!
Chuck - I will answer your PM when I'm not camping. 'Kay?
Right now, I am drinking coffee from the lid of a thermos by a burnt out campfire and vaping my X2's. I'm being entertained by a pair of green herons down at the creek. Life is sooo good. I did manage to get stung by a honeybee at about 11 p.m. That takes talent!![]()
Told you that wild life is unpredictable!![]()

I thought I would drop in and say hi. Doing well. Still vape free. Hope everyone is doing fine.![]()

It was actually just the stinger. The honeybee had pulled a kamikaze and was crawling away across the floor of the tent. I felt so bad for her. Should have stayed in bed. Sounds like its time for a heating pad, alternating with an ice pack,Motrin and snack food so the motrin won't upset your stomach and a good book. Hope your back gets better soon
