I was ROTF at that point in the video, also yelling at the screen "stop antagonizing the turkey!" Obviously, this woman has NEVER been out of the city -- heck has she even been out of her house before? Just saying.

Bet she don't leave it again either!! Bet she doesn't have turkey this Thanksgiving

This just absolutely cracked me up. It also made me glad that I don't keep horses! Ended up nice though, didn't it? :)

Kola deliberately pooped in her feed bucket. Its another form of non verbal communication. Her way of getting back at me for making her mind and putting another horse's halter on her. To her that was the ultimate insult. How DARE I insult her by putting a used halter on her making her smell like another horse !! That's the way she thinks. So her pooping in the feed bucket was her way of letting me know what she thought of me at the time.
With Kola everyday is an adventure. It all depends on whether she's having a bad mane day or not. She's my miracle baby and I spoiled her silly, when she was born I was her playmate, there was no babies here until she was 6mos old. When I weaned her I put her in with the 3 mo.old foals that we rescued but she bullied them,so I had to move her in with our herd of young mares and they doted on her and still do.She's smart as whip like her dam,but just a spoiled brat.

Wow Raynes what joy it was to read about your song sleep in the wilderness.

I would take the turkey chasing anyday, unfortunately for me as a kid i got chased by a angry hunting dog. Who escaped his house...it was by a miracle that i was able to run fast enough into the house.

Kon Keep that chin of yours up as best as you can. We're all thinking of you!!

I have spent the morning emptying the spa in which i started yesterday..... When i found out it has a leak. Boohoo im so angry. Tomorrow i will start on trying to find out where it is and do a patchup job. I have narrowed it down to two areas.
-----> wish me luck and feel free to leave any comments or help.... Would be much appreciated
Oh and here some more coffee

Haha, that's why I don't jog! Not by a hunting dog, but a really big city one. I was out jogging one morning and actually ended up on top of someone's car until it went away. That was about 30 years ago. I only "jog" in front of the TV now!

I'm a little late with the coffe this morning, slept until 7 for a change, but it's hot an strong!

Oh, thank you, Awsum. Late coffee is better than no coffee!

Good Morning Volties!

I've been out on a walk with Lexi already. It's nippy out there, but it's beautiful. There are still wildflowers blooming around the house and in the woods. The forest is carpeted and draped with gold. The sun is shining. Life is good!!

Good Morning, Volties. Still dark here! Can't wait until Daylight Savings time is over. Fall is well underway as a number of the trees have lost their leaves. The green ash trees seem to be very early leaf droppers. The other trees are turning colors and before too long we will get a cold and blustery day and all the leaves will be gone.

I'm going with SI RY4 24 mg with my Cafe Verona today.

Raynes, horses are kind of odd creatures, aren't they? I just adore my little horse but he certainly has his good days and his "bad" days. Of course, he isn't really a bad little horse but he can be a bit of a stinker. Remaining calm but firm is the only way to go, I think. We have several packs of coyotes in the area. One of the packs has a tradition of getting together and yelping as a group. Quite the cacophony. Seems like they keep some of their young with them from year to year to help with the new babies. Just guessing from the sounds of the yodeling going on out there.

We have a huge, beautiful maple tree in our front yard that just glows golden when the sun hits it and before the leaves fall. Most of the trees around here are oaks and turn brown. I love that maple tree.

HATE, HATE, HATE daylight savings time. I can't wait for it to change again, too, back to normal time. Or lets stay on daylight savings time year round. Or even if we could just move it 1/2 hour to please everyone and stay that way. I hate the changing part, I'm always cranky and tired a week after the time changes no matter which way it goes. Why do we do this again??? I don't think it does anything except maybe for 8 to 5'ers that want to get to the golf course and have more daylight in the summer.
(can you tell I hate the daylight savings time change?)

And (ranting over with now, thanks for your patience) by the way....good morning.
