I'll stick to WL for PG and VG, just makes me more comfortable with it for inhalation.
A comment on wood splitting. I used to heat with a wood stove and spent many hours splitting wood. While I won't knock hydraulic splitters, especially for people that aren't physically fit or some really tough woods, nothing beats a "monster maul" in the fifteen pound size for splitting for me. For those that don't know, a monster maul is a wedge of steel about eight or nine inches long on the point end and maybe four inches wide across the back end. The whole thing is three or four inches thick, kind of like a solid steel slice of pie. And this massive head is mounted on a re-enforced steel handle about three feet long. If the wood was dry, I could just let it drop from about head height and the wood would fall apart. The toughest stuff, swamp maple, would take several hard swings. It was a great way to vent the frustrations of the day and get one heck of a good upper body workout while doing something constructive and productive. Even at my current age, if I had a wood stove, I'd still use a monster maul over a hydraulic, I really did enjoy splitting with it.
Gotta go get productive....later dudes
