Hello PIFers!

Ugh what a night I had. New snow led to my first ever damage causing accident. slid into a guardrail. Car was not drivable had to be towed (thank goodness for AAA). Unfortunately in my shocked frame of mind I forgot to grab my 510 I had in the car before it was towed off. I may be able to retrieve it later, dad day. I have a backup thank goodness. Bumped my head and scratch my hand but other than that I am OK, so that is what really matters.

So sorry you had a bad night..But glad you are ok.

I am sorry about your accident but happy that you are ok. :)

I just went out and delivered some cards and cookies to some of our elderly friends who dont have much Christmas going on.I feel so happy!!They really cheered me up and they enjoyed having the kids visit with them.I love how you can do things like that during the holiday.

Sounds like a great way to spend the day. :)

Monda, glad to hear you escaped mostly unharmed. Bought new wipers and plenty of washer fluid for the trip tomorrow. We're only driving about 150 or so miles round trip but still looks like we'll be driving through heaviest of the snowstorm.

Normally I would say there's a chance it'll miss us, but the last 2 years my back has become better at predicting than the local Meteorologist! It's coming for sure. I wish everyone not only a Merry Christmas, but a safe one as well. boB

boB: they have been on the fence here about where or not we're getting snow - but my friend Dawn has a shoulder that predicts rain and a wrist that predicts snow...and her wrist is killing her! Glad you said something about the wiper fluid - I read this and went out and filled mine! I bought some the other day. Thanks! lol

Drive fast and take chances and have an awesome visit!

(hey everybody says be safe and be careful, my late FIL use to send us off with that "wish"!)

I finally have (some) presents wrapped and cookies made. Just pulled the last batch out of the oven. Have one more ting to make for the night and a couple of presents to wrap. and WOOT! The hubs present came today while he was out! We weren't suppose to exchange due to the tires and washer - but I saw them and had to get them! I'll tell after Christmas in case he lurks here! lol

Happy Christmas Eve to all!

Still have wrapping to do but all is Under Control.

It's funny and endearing, my boys have all outgrown the Santa thing, but from the way they are acting right you wouldn't know it. They are all a little bouncy this morning in a sweet way. Well, I think it's sweet, DH is ready to lock them up in a closet with a box of Cheerios! lol

Morning everyone. Hope you all have a great Christmas eve.

Missy I have learned that no matter how disappointing, sometimes it just isn't worth taking the risk of driving. For your sakes I hope you get to go but if the weather is really bad it just isn't worth it. There is a lot of truth in the saying "it's the other people you have to watch out for"
