Merry Christmas Eve Day! :)

I am excited for tonight. This is my babys first christmas, and the first one that my older son knows what is going on :) We have one family get together tonight, and two tomorrow.

I am Jewish, so we already celebrated Hanukkah, but my kids are extremely spoiled because both my dad's family and my husbands family celebrate christmas.

My partner has a Jewish father and a Christian Mother...she and her brother got to experience both holidays. And now our daughter is extremely spoiled too. LOL

This is the first Christmas for my bff's twin girls, they'll be 8mos on New Years Day. She soooo wants them to have this spectacular Christmas and she's been 'practicing' with them so they know how to open prezzies.....now she finds out her boyfriend isn't getting his bonus until after New Years and she's throwing a fit because 'all the babies get for christmas are spoons'. Really I'm trying to be understanding but....they're so young they won't even remember right?? You could wrap empty boxes and they'd have just as much fun. Right?

Well Aunt Lynlee to the rescue I made sure they will have something to open. At first I was moody and hellbent on finding the noisiest things I could. Still giving some thought to going back and getting that little piano~! I'm definitely NOT a parent, and that was made really obvious while I stood and gaped at everything in the kids section. Finally decided on Discovery Nursery Farm and Spin N Learn Top, and a couple Bears onesies.

I did better when they were newborns and all I ever bought them were cutesy little matching outfits~!

These are my lil sweeties Claire and Jaida

The kids are in bed - but NOT asleep! Even though none believe in Santa anymore, there is still a magical excitement in the air. I STILL haven't finished wrapping. lol But all will be done and under the tree shortly.

Lynlee - new mom's are CrAzY - I know, I was one once! lol Seriously, if they wrapped boxes and filled them with tissue the babies would be thrilled!

Shhhh - I'll tell you a little secret...all of our boys got the exact same presents for their fist Christmas (thanks to a wise older friend!) After DS#! outgrew the toys, I put them away...and pulled them out and wrapped them for DS#2's 1st Christmas and did it again for DS#3!

Santa (same wise friend!) only brings the kids 3 presents. Like the 3 Wise Men brought the infant Jesus. We all get a family gift from Santa and the boys get boring stuff like clothes from us and a family gift from us.
