zadane are you sure you're making a good connection with your finger?? I had a saber mini for a minute and I've heard that you have to keep your finger moist to get a good contact. Have you tried licking your finger?

Yea, it works great with all my other gear, but i get next to nothing with the dual coils. so let's hope the new batteries work. and they fit better. these ones are slightly too long.

We bought a new dog toy. Lucy eats in 20 seconds flat. We had already bought the Slow Feed Bowl, which Lucy learned to flip over to dump out all her food. So much for slowing her down.

Determined not to be outsmarted by a dog, we found the kibble nibble food ball. This isn't Lucy but it does show how it works. We can put a whole serving of her food in it.

I found the easiest ways to feed my 3 cats and 2 dogs in the house is....a massive bag of cat food once a week and keeping the food bowl full at all times. They eat when they want, which means they don't eat too fast, and they don't overeat because they're all used to food being available any time. I tried a bowl of dog food and a bowl of cat food, the dogs preferred the cat food. Oh well, easier on me :p

I asked the vet about it, he told me the only issue with them eating cat food is that they can put on a bunch of weight, something about cat food can make a dog gain. I just have to keep an eye on my chiweenie, vet said he looks like he might get fat real easy :(

oh ok well thats good i just didnt want anything bad to happen to your dogs, fat cats are cool but not fat dogs lol!-)

It's not Lucy's size that concerns me. I don't want her overweight but how fast she's eating is making her sick to her stomach. Even with a normal serving of food, she will eat it so fast that she will choke or make herself sick. I'm hoping that after Lucy realises that we intend on feeding her every day (3 times a day) and she's not going to starve, she will settle down and not need the food ball. She was underweight when we found her, now she is at a healthy weight but still has the "starvation eating habits".
