Oh .. I thought it looked like you but assumed since it was black&white that it was old .. shame on me, I have black & white prints all over my office. lol

Oh if they are laminate floors, you are gonna freakin' love them .. especially with the barnyard you keep. They are so easy to keep clean and maintain .. no scratches! I grew up with hardwood floors and I love them to death but they are hell to keep up and scratch so easily. Lucky you !!!

The real photo is color, but I like it better in b&w. :) B&w photos kinda rule.

Yes, laminate is the word I was looking for ;). The one we have downstairs is something we had done years ago and we paid for it ourselves...we went with a really cheap floor and it's not holding up very well =\ Since Beth's parents got us the upstairs floors as a gift, they insisted we go with something at leasts a step up in quality...and you know, we were thrilled to do so ;) Not the most expensive, not the cheapest...right in the middle...and it looks so freakin' awesome! I love her partents so much, they are so good to us all three of us.

The qualifications for being approved for adoption are extensive. The safe-guards are in place.

It might be the perception that they are protecting children from predators, however, most predators are not necessarily single......

And most predetors would not go through the trouble of adopting anyway, even if it was easy. That would simply leave a paper-trail and create an evidentiary link they wouldn't want. Intimidating family members or snatching a child from somewhere is so much easier.

Whatever "justifications" they use now, the adoption laws are based on the Judeo-Christian culture of 200 years ago in which a single male would not have the time or interest to raise a family--and a same-sex couple would be chased from town (at best) if they did not at least have the "decency" to "hide their perversion." However much frosting of moderninity and progress our legal system shows, it's still spread on a centuries-old cake--and many people that work within it don't even realize how different their actions and attitudes are from the beliefs they claim to hold...

Every flavor is nasty and you like McCoffee juice? Mmmm

Beamed from my DroidX

The McCaffes (or whatever, my wife likes them) are at least better than Starbuck's over-roasted and burned coffees. At least the espresso-based drinks. Dunno about the drip-style coffee...

It's good stuff .... but not the space alien coffees.. It was a Dulce Gusto.

There are so many places to get k-cups from and the "My-K-Cup" basket does work (we have them for really nice coffees). We are on a plan with green mountain so I get shipped every other month. So EASY! go into a bed, bath and beyond. Most of them have tons of cups now.
I love easy.. will have to look in to that and weigh the costs .. obviously I'm a cheap coffee drinker, with my McCafe tastes :). Good excuse to get to BBB anyway.

I've only tried Starbucks a few times;they're hit or miss for me. I don't waste the money trying them any more. The closest one is a 35 minute drive one way and I don't get there often.

Life would be miserable without the wondrous power of the Magic Life Juice known as the glorious cup of coffee! Thats the worst part of international travel for me to third-world areas usually - getting a good cuppa. A few months ago when I was in Shanghai, I about went crazy - no coffee like you can find in the US - but found my savior in the form of a Starbucks!
:D
All this talk of coffee has me craving one now - but its soo late for a good cuppa.. hmm.. beer and coffee?
:)

thats why you have coffee juice and vape it!! :)

I make coffee so strong that noone else will drink it, except my kids. When I get a coffee at a coffee house I get 4 to 5 expresso's, a 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup steamed milk.

I have a cheapo cappuchino machine. I LOVE it, but had to put it up- because I would drink 8-10 of them a day.

I've tried Starbucks Mocha three times, in three different cities across two different states. They tasted identical (which is sort of the point to a chain), but they were identically nasty. So I went to the heart of the matter and just got a straight espresso. With that you could tell that the beans were over-roasted (burned in the oven) and the espresso was over-extracted (the pull was too long which burned what oils were left and extracted too much acid).

But everyone's taste is different :)
