lol...u gotta love a fat man in tighty whiteys...teehee... i love that banjo song too!!! it is catchy..

No, you don't gotta. LOL

Back on the carto and box mod for now. But you can bet I'll be dripping on that LR tonight. :)

Anyone else think that a 3.4ohm carto on a 5v device would simulate 4v vaping? Anyone??

Geez gone for a day and a half and trying to catch up is near impossible...still 10 pages to go and already too much to multi quote... so the midway post:

Imma talk to myself while I'm waiting........I'm not crazy bout the LS, that's asking alot out of those 10440 batts. I'd honestly have to look to see what the Big B uses.......I can't see a whole day of heavy vaping with the LS, and for the money I have to have that.....I think a lot of women really like it cause of the size, prolly a good mod and a decent price for VV, those 10440s are a deal breaker for me. boB
I agree the 10440 battery is what makes the LS a total nonstarter for me...the big brother using 2 14500s is a much better option

Anyhow, I guess what are your thoughts on the Little Sister and now the Big Brother. I have to say, from what I've read, the Big Brother seems like the better option since the batteries have a longer life. I just don't want some monstrous looking thing that's going to flag me at airport security for a pipe bomb.
quite simply even at 3.7V even 2 10440 batteries run in series ...the max drain rate of the batteries can't meet the amp draw of a 510 atty....so you get voltage sag...so if the voltage sags at 3.7V...calling it VV capable is just kinda silly to me...

Tried my first LR 510 atty today. Makes the eGo hit like a monster! OMG! Getting a 5v box from an awesome PIF memeber in a couple of days, can't wait to compare the two!!! Very exciting vaping going on over here. :)
just be careful.....some of the LR atties out there are proven eGo killers...scottbe has pretty much determined that if the resistance drops below 1.4Ω it'll kill the eGo battery....and some of those LR atties start of at 1.5Ω and all the atties have a tolerance of +/- .3Ω...

I'm dripping on a LR atty with an eGo right now, and you wouldn't believe the fog in my living room right now! Screw higher voltage, pick up a LR atty and drip that mo fo! Holy vapor!
you think they churn out the vape now...you should see what it's like on a device pushing a true 3.7V....
as far as comparing it to 5V... if the device is pushing a true 5V a 3Ω carto is putting out 8W.... and a joye 2.3Ω 510 puts out about 10.42W.... the LR atty puts out 9.13W on a device putting out a true 3.7V... that's why they call it simulated 5V... because the wattage is dead center of that "sweet spot" field

Still haven't made up my mind yet and probably won't. Regardless of what bee oh Bee had to say, I'm an analyzer and will always research something to its core. By the time I make that purchase, I'm completely happy with my choice. No buyer's remorse here!

yeah just research them fully.... the Big brother if run with 14500 high drain batteries should actually deliver VV the way it's actually supposed to be...

Little Sister, The guys dont like them because they dont last more than 4 hrs or so they take little batteries. But for a girl they are very petite

it's more than the battery life that makes me not like it....like I said the battery specs and the math don't add up to make it truely capable of the VV that the maker claims

what is a TR15270 600mah 3.0 Volt Batteries
is that a cr123?

cr123 is a 16340... the numbers are the battery size... first two are the diameter in mm... the second 2 are the length... the last 0 means round cell....

the TR15270 is size code for an Ultrafire CR2 battery...

Well, Drozd, I'll be dripping it on my box mod tonight then and just leave the eGo alone for a while. :) I love the eGo for when I go out, but it's the box mod when I'm home...so now I'll just use it at home with both cartos and LR atty's. :) I do have a 5v box on it's way, but will only use the cartos on it.

Still dripping. :) I can clearly see where LR attys are going to save me some money. Yes indeed.

I'm telling you girl... the LR306 from either nhaler or e liquid planet and a drip tip...on a pure 3.7V device...the bees knees.... that and it's an exposed atty so good for dipping too...

No, you don't gotta. LOL

3.4Ω on 5V is 7.35W

a joye 510 on 4V would be around 6.96W and at 4.2V it'd be 7.67W

so yeah.....it'd be close to the same

Yay!!! OK, I'll be honest. :) I'm pretty darn excited about it!

Hmmm, my wife just yelled down the stairs "I found my wedding ring!" I wonder how long it's been missing!

I'm putting some videos of Livi on youtube right now of todays "gymnastics class". So not a class! But fun. :D

yeah.. I know that you love the eGo...that's why I was letting you know... don't know which LR atty you got since there's like 3 or 4 different ones with different resistances...but they have been known to be eGo killers....and I know I'd hate to be out and kill my PV..

I mean it's an acceptable and calculated risk for some...but also knowing that you have the box mod...it's not at risk for killing that

Drozd, do you ever get tired of being right? 3.7v box mod + LR atty = The Awesome

Soooo, LR will kill a standard 510 batt too, right? Or is just something about the eGo?

it's mainly the 510 and the eGo... scottbee had a post about it...it's the crappy mosfet and controller in the battery that if the resistance drops to 1.4Ω or lower....instant irreperable death...

they'll also slowly kill the overall life expectancy of regular batteries faster too...except for high drains and 18650 batteries.... because the amp draw is higher than the max drain of the battery can keep up with....overstressing it and gradually killing capacity...
but the jump in output betwen a LR on an eGo and a 3.7V battery is HUGE...

a joye atty on an eGo is 4.18W... the 1.5Ω LR atty on the eGo is 6.41W...and then the LR on a 3.7V is 9.13W

EDIT: and no...no I don't....

as for the longer drip tip...depending what tip you're using...give it a little blow down the end after you drip ...should help stop the juice in mouth thing....if they're delrin... check the bottom..sometimes the delrin has burrs that catch the juice....I smooth that out with a sharp razor and a nail file I stole from my ol lady
