B, anything I have sent you is no lower than 1.5 tested so should be fine on your ego. I won't go against scottbee's statement as a general rule. I will however state that Missy has been using one 1.2 since 4th of July with no ill effects. Again I wouldn't advise it in general as Dzord says but 1.5 you should be fine with your ego IMO. boB

Thanks for the info, Drozd. Was hoping you might see that question and post. Any idea how that one might work with an adapter to use KR808 cartos? I just don't really care for dripping even if I'm just sitting at home. Husband might enjoy it once he gets going but I just don't really care for it. Yeah, vapor is nice but convenience is a bit more important to me.

and.. I need everyone in PIF on the east coast to go outside and blow this hurricane out to sea further.. if I lose power if it hits, not only will the kids NOT start school, but I can't charge my Stella!! Omg it will be terrible!! So please.. go outside and blow with all your great capacity lungs.. give 'em something to do!!

went back to penney's today.. spent 42 bucks on 6 shirts, 3 american eagle jeans and a jansport backpack.. saved $345!! woot!!

with a 3 pice connector like the ones that madvapes has... I like the KR808 turbo cartos... (that type of adaptor you can adjust the airflow on)... so I'd guess that it would work well...I run turbo cartos on 6V because they're cheaper to replace than atties and having an adapter that I can adjust the airflow on is key for me for that...

I'm not saying that it's nessicarrily a bad thing....just that it's important to have the knowlege that it's highly possible that running a LR atty on an eGo could kill the eGo battery... it's just informed consent really...that you know there's a risk and you accept that..
I know there's at least 1 vendor that puts the warning on their LR atties or ego kit I cant remember which

would I do it....yep..... would I do it if that's the only battery/device I had....nope...

You wanna watch the ones that are under 1.5 resistance....the #s suggest they aren't good for them, can even cause failure. The EM ones usually measure 1.7 or so, so they should be fine. You wanna watch the ones that are under 1.5 resistance....the #s suggest they aren't good for them, can even cause failure. The EM ones usually measure 1.7 or so, so they should be fine. You're gonna wear out your batts a little quicker it would seem. Like I said previously though Missy's been using one that's 1.2 for almost 2 months rotating 2 batts and so far so good. I think it's not so much that it's lower than 1.4Ω but the idea that if a short or something happens that it suddenly drops in resistance that it blows the controller....and that dropping to 1.4Ω or below is that threshold..
in other words starting at 1.8 or 1.7 and suddenly it drops to 1.4 or less = Problem...

starting at less than 1.4...less of a problem...

but that's pure theoretical speculation that the sudden drop in resistance fries the controler because there's no PCB ....and the battery is suddenly being overdrawn alot more than it was already being overdrawn..

Drozd just a question here I honestly have no idea of the answer, are there many reported incidents of this happening, cause in general discussion I don't see it. I admit I haven't been to the modders section in quite a while. I just kinda feel from it not being posted in general discussion that maybe it's a bit overblown? Kinda a worse case thing as opposed to something that commonly occurs? There's a TON of egos out there and many people are going LR.

I say this because we use them exclusively on egos, and haven't had a problem, I'm generally not the luckiest person in the world boB
