I tried getting my mom to vape. She bought a 510 and i thought she was doing pretty good. Then I figured out she was just doing it around me but never at her house. But i guess thats a start. Maby your mom will decide to do it while she is there and get to where she likes it more than smoking. I smoked since I was 13 so for 37 years and It worked for me.

that and at the end of u'r complaint, say "if u need nicotine that bad, here" and toss her something she can vape (w/ like 555 or RY4 or something like that) maybe see if u can help her "accidentally" convert by suggesting she simply use it where she can't smoke ;) it's how i accidentally quit.

yea, I started at 12  and stopped after 21 years.. I know that she CAN quit, she's just stubborn and doesn't WANT to quit. I sent her a 510 and a TON of juices (lots of which I got in PIF! because y'all rock!) mostly tobacco flavored.. and she doesn't have the patience to fill a cart or carto or charge batteries. The up side of that, is my younger sister, who lives with her, is a severe asthmatic and smokes.. she now uses the 510, and I sent her a ton more juices (much thanks to PIF) and she is planning to buy an eGo and try to quit analogs altogether (she is supplementing, I guess) so at least it wasn't a total waste of a 510!

I had introduced her to my eGo and she choked on it hahahaha! she couldn't hang! I can't understand why, as she's been smoking for like 100 years, I think! And all the tobacco flavored juice I had here I sent to her

Good luck with that, Melanie! I hope she decides to vape, but if she doesn't, enjoy watching her suffer outside with the cigs! Bwhahahahaha!

I sure will! She will miss me being a smoker. I won't even let her smoke in the garage, I've got a .... bucket on the front porch for her. She and the state bird (the mosquito) can have fun out there together.. heh:p

Well! I shipped the hubby off to OK this morning for a business meeting!!! Me and the kiddos are trying to figure out what kind of mischief we can get into!! lol!!

LOL.....just dont burn the house down!...and relax! hehe

and lilacs... good luck! I dont understand why anyone cant give these a real GO! I love it, yeah its is a lil more of a PITA, but it is a wonderful trade off IMO!

Besides the health benefits of vaping, two of my friends I have started vaping are really enjoying being able to do it inside. One of them lives in Louisiana near me, and its nice not having to go out in elevinty-billion degrees to smoke all day long. His dad works in Alaska, and its the same for him, just minus elevinty-billion degrees. They both thank me regularly for introducing them to vaping.

Its jsut one of those things, though, someone has to be willing to work with it. You just can't force stuff on people. If they wanna go for it, they will. Good luck!

That sounds kind of like me. I didn't really Want to quit but figured I should. Now I find I'm in between wanting to vape and wanting to smoke. Neither really seems to be doing it for me now...

Ran out of smokes, so I guess technically I've been smoke free for 12 hours lol Do I get a pin? oh wait... that's AA....lol

I fell off the wagon once (stupid mother in law!) and if someone on the street had one cigarette handy, I probably would have stopped at one, but I had to buy a pack instead, which turned into two, then three, so on.. So.. I have found that if I keep a pack of cigarettes around in case the need arises (she's in town again!) I can smoke one and be done. However, the pack sits and sits.. opened, so the cigarette is that much more disgusting.. when I actually feel that uncontrollable urge, I take a max of three drags and put it out.. I can justify three drags compared to a pack.. helps for me anyway :) It's like.. I want what I can't have.. (typical woman, huh?) so if it's there, I don't want it.. so far, so good! (it's gotta be so horrendously stale by now.. heehee)

This reminds me, I have a pack that's been sitting since March. Guess I could throw that out by now...

I had some issues with my order from them, but all that aside, a lot of these other companies have a coupon code also, which negates the argument of the 10% coupon code cuts the cost of shipping to what everyone else charges.

For example, when I ordered a kit from V4L with 22% off, by your logic my shipping was free-- no wait... they actually paid me to ship it. See my point?
yeah but the 22% off from V4L is not all the time you gotta wait to see when there is a sale...not to mention that they typically cost a bit more for the same stuff that other vendors carry..minus the consistency in their product...
so yeah...by my logic...they paid you, which they'd have to do to get me to order anything from them...and just 22% which would make shipping free and a couple bucks off wouldn't be enough..

Drodz,
you have a laser mod, right? what's the absolute highest mAh on a 10440 battery? do you know? And...what mAh do you have and how long does it last you? Also...are you a heavy, moderate or light vaper? :) Enough questions for ya?? <---Oh, look, another one! hahahaa ;)

I had a Lazer mod...I gave it away to Mick in PIF when I got my super T.... but realistically the highest mAh on the 10440 is about 350mah...there are some UF batteries that are labeled 600mAh but those numbers are....um....optimistic....the AW 10440 do seem to last a tad bit longer...
and me I'm a fairly heavy vaper...but the 10440 battery only really satisfyingly lasted me about 3 hours....

there is a bit of math that you can do that will fairly accurately guesstimate the ammount of time a battery will last in a mod (it doesnt work with guessing eGos though because of the pulse modulation it uses though)

first you have to know the amp draw of the atty at a voltage...which is the voltage divided by the resistance of the atty (so if you're using a boge 510 carto (3.4Ω) on it for 3.7V you have an amp draw of 1.09A)

now take the amp draw in mAh and divide by the mAh rating of the battery and that'll give you the C rate (rate of discharge) (so in this case 1090mA/350mAh = 3.11C)

then take 60minutes and divide by that C rate and that'll give you the minutes continuous that battery will last....multipy that by 60 and it'll convert to seconds....and divide by the average # of seconds you hold the button for a drag and that'll give you a rough # of drags per battery charge.. (so in this example 60min/3.11C= 19.29min = 1157sec = or 231 5second long drags...

*obviously that'll therefore change dependant on which atty you're using and which battery....but the math works for ANY mod battery and does show a trend that a LR atty will last about 25% less time than a joye 510 atty....and then as you go up in resistance toward the 901 the battery will last substantially longer...

had to share.. my mother is coming here (Virginia) in two weeks to visit from CT.. she is a smoker (I tried and tried to get her to vape, I guess I will try again when she's here) and she asked me how much a carton of cigarettes are.. it was SO nice to not have a CLUE what a carton goes for, much less a pack! I know up there they are about $8-9 a pack.. yikes! I will settle for upkeep on hardware and some juices for a fraction a month of what she pays in half a week :D and I get my health, too! (not to mention I don't stink..) wait til she realizes she has to smoke outside in 100+ degree heat here.. maybe I will get her to vape yet!

just load up a tasty flavor in a decently high mg strength in an extra e-cig and let her know that shes welcome to use the e-cig inside....but for a regular cig she has to go outside in the heat...
