well- today hubby and I loaded up the two boys and drove over an hour to a shooting tournament-
we were there about 30 minutes and guess who drove up? YEP- both girls, moms and younger siblings.
This is not like a football game or baseball game where you sit in the stands. you follow the shooters ALL over the place- like in golf-
finally, the moms got bored and asked if the girls could stay and ride home with us.
We were squadded with guy who had two daughters- 15 and 11- we had chatted a bit here adn there, and he was very impressed with our kids- and was a nice guy- eventually, we were waiting at a station for the kids to show up ( you ride golf carts or UTV's on these courses and the kids had to walk due to lack of space with two extra rears- which I had appologized for more than once.
Finally he just broke down and said " I just have to say it, ' these are 'girl friends'? "
He said he wouldnt ever allow that, and it seemed a bit.... pushy to him also. Not to mention inappropriate after we told him that this was the first 'week' they had even 'talked' to these girls.
I almost think these moms have seen two decent boys and are trying to attach these girls to them. I dont know if they know about the oil wells I will be getting in a few years as inheratance (not much mind you, but its a running joke IN my household and with a FEW descrete family members) or what.... LOL
actually got a text after the 'date' from one of the moms "THANKS so much for letting the boys come, I hope they can come over tomorrow for grandmas birthday party, these girls just love them so much and cant wait to see them again"
i am just SOOO thankful for my Vantab and strawberry cheesecake- cause I have upped my intake by at least 3mls a day since Thursday!
OH and my kids lost my truck keys, (with EVERYTHING else on them)
AND- my frickin frackin AC went out in my truck-
I havent used the heater in over a year- we didnt even have a winter- and its not been under 100 here for well over a month. PLUS, I have a 7 hour car trip in two weeks.
Its full of R134 so I have NO clue- Praying its not the compressor!!

Think I have a convert!! Met with a friend of my cousins today- they are from kansas- She said she tried the blu and hated it- she tried my van tab- She is in love-
Gonna take her the battery and charger I got this week as an extra, plus a few flavors, and 2 CE4s. - (cant take the chance on one going bad before she can get in a shipment.)

I managed to fight it off for the most part, but it took a couple of days to recoup.
